Poundland pregnancy tests?

Does anyone know how reliable they are?

I've never fancied paying around a tenner for a pregnancy test, when there are two strips in a packet for a pound at poundland - but do they work?

I've heard that they are the same strips that are used at GP practices, but I'm not too sure.

Any ideas?

i used them and they are the same ones doctors use.

they work just as well as the expensive ones.

Hmmm.. i've used them, but i wasn't all that impressed.

I was very definately pregnant but was only getting squinters - you know the ones where you have to hold it up to certain light and peer closely.

In the end, for my own sanity, i paid the almost a tenner to read the words 'pregnant 1-2'

Should have done that in the first place...

I've used them.
They skimp on the dye a bit, so you get quite a faint line, but that's all you need, really.
I don't think the line will ever go dark, as it does on an expensive test.
A negative has always been a clear negative for me.
