CD14 still no sign of ovulation. Up in the night again with DS so that might be affecting it. My temps seem to alternate between 35.9 and 36.2, does anyone know what this might mean?

Using fertility friend and it is confused!!

Before I got preg I was regular as clockwork before and after stopping the pill, and when temping for last 2 months before I fell preg I ovulated on days 12/13! Could it just be a hangover from the minipill?

Could do with some reassurance please. Thanks

Hi
Have you had a cold or anything that might delay ovulation, your temps don't sound too bad, can you link your chart on here?
I don't think you should worry though, our bodies do strange things!! hehe
Last month i ovulated on day 18 and i was worried that it wasn't gonna happen at all, and this month i'm early on day 13 so who knows??
Try not to worry and stress as that may just delay it longer.
take care beki

HI beki yes had cold couple of weeks ago and niggling problems since, e.g. loss of voice, tiredness from lack of sleep (15mth old with stomach bug!!!).

My temp did go up today to 36.5 so could be better than I thought, fingers crossed.

Will have a go at link

Not sure if this is right!!

Jersey,

Bear in mind that Fertility Friend won't detect ovulation until you have had three elevated temperatures in a row, but if your temperature is up today that might be a good sign. Keep up the BD-ing until you get it confirmed though

Hugs,
Artoo.

Hi again,

I do think that you may have delayed ovulation from not being very well, and like Artoo said you have to wait for three clear days of temp rise to confirm ovulation.
Good to hear your temp has gone up today and hopefully they will keep going up now.
btw your link to your chart didn't work.
take care

Jersey

I would not chart at present, if you want to do this I would suggest waiting till you're feeling better.

Charting though is certainly not an infallible method and does have problems associated with it. For example you can have a rise in temp in the second half of your cycle when an egg has not been shed. If chart ends up looking like something akin to the Rocky Mountains then it can certainly become difficult to interpret. Charting also becomes a daily reminder that there could be a problem associated with ovulation and it can become stressful in its own right. Therefore I would not chart for any longer than a couple of months.

Many GPs and gynaes do not use temp charts anyway primarily because they are so unreliable. The surest way of knowing whether you are definately ovulating or not is to have blood tests done to measure your hormone levels.

Thanks everyone, fertility friend now thinks I did ovulate this cycle but thinks the other indicators don't confirm it!

We will see.

good luck and for what it's worth i think it is worth temping, just don't get obessed with it like me!!
I hope you get the result you want this month.
