My last period was 6 weeks ago today. I was taking the minipill but stopped taking it about 4 weeks ago, I'm still not on and I'm testing negative. Normally I bleed every four weeks, even the minipill didn't stop it like the nurse predicted.

Any ideas?

make an app at ur GP! if it comes just cancel it. if not - go!

ok, so your last period was a breakthrough bleed. so your cycle actually began 4 weeks ago. factor in time for your bady to settle down, give it another 2 weeks before testing/seeing your nurse.

I forgot to say I also had a little bit of pink discharge 2 weeks ago when I thought my period would be due. I'll juts have to wait a bit longer then!

test on friday then if you want to know. your period wouldnt have been due two weeks ago, because you took half your pill cycle then stopped (that would have been the pink discharge) the day that you stopped your pill would have been effectively CD1, because from that day the whole process kicks in, whereas your pill was surpressing it. dykwim?

lol line, I seem to be the "goto girl" for all thing fertility in RL, have had dh's friends' GF's, DB's friends', total strangers all ringing/emailing/stopping me in the pub street to ask advice. might start charging. especially since I seem to know more than most doctors. if only they let me have a needle...

and I agree, a couple of drinks will be fine. when I was upduffed with ds I got so stoned I passed out, got so drunk I fell over, smoked 20 a day, worked 18hrs a day and climbed on the roof of the restaurant in a thunderstorm to unblock the drains (not all in the same night) beans are built to withstand the mum not knowing for a while!
