I'm not ttc but AF is late. I highly doubt I am pregnant as dh is very careful. (I wouldn't mind being up the duff tho). AF was due Saturday.

Pregnancy test yesterday was negative.

I use to have a 29 day cycle but when AF finally returned after having ds2 (still breastfeeding now) it fell into a 30 day cycle. This seems to be normal for me as before I had any kids I had a 28 day clockwork cycle. Since having ds2 (9mths) I have had 4 visits from AF.

Any ideas?

Could be any number of things. Most likely is either that your cycle hasn't settled as you're bfing or ovulation was delayed for some other reason. Stress and illness are the main culprits. It's also possible to have an anovulatory cycle (a cycle where you don't ovulate). It's normal for this to happen sometimes and is more common when bfing.

Or you could be pregnant and it's not showing on a test yet, but I suspect it's one of the ovulation related issues if you're careful. Never know though.

Thanks Line :)

I'll keep waiting, of nothing by the weekend I'll test again - seriously not expecting a positive tho, as much as I'd like it.

I agree with line, it sounds like a hormonal/bfing thing. has ds been feeding more often? iirc they have a bit of a spurt at around 9m which would up your milk production and delay your period.

Yeah he has actually as one of his top teeth is cutting through - more of a comfort thing than a feeding thing I suspect tho.

That'll be it I think, thanks! :)

I got a bfp last night, on a tesco digi test.

I then got 2 bfn's and another bfn this morning? Confused

2 of the tests were tesco digi, the last 2 were clearblue digi

Please help!! I didn't know you could get false 'pregnant' results, and I didn't know the result could change so quickly

Xx
