Is this implantation bleeding? Or something else?

The last 3 days I've had very small amounts of blood, more like pink tinged discharge with the occasional very small pink blob (not like clots with your period). I thought it was just my period arriving, but I've never had 3 days notice before.

The problem is I have no regular cycle at the moment. DS is almost 6 months and still EBF. My LMP was 13th Feb. I tested around mid-March when I didn't have another period and it was -ve. So I have no idea what my cycle is up to or if/when I've ovulated.

Should I just take a test? I probably should, but when we were TTC it seemed like every time I POAS I got my period the next day.

Anyway, if you folk think it sounds like implantation bleeding then I'll POAS, if not, I'll hold off.

Also, if it is, would a test be accurate now?

I had something similar - and like you had very irregular periods and hadn't had one since december and this was the end of February. It was more like the start of a period that never came - enough to ruin your pants but not much more (sorry to be so graphic). It only lasted about 2 days. I then started testing on those cheapy early detection tests and about 4 days after it started saw a very faint line that you could only see if you were optimistic and about 2 days later it was more like a pink faint line. (Now a month later it is a dark pink line and I feel exhausted and fat!)

I tried a test but the stupid thing gave me an error message, that'll teach me to use expensive ones - ASDA own from now on!

I'll leave it and try again in a couple of days. Fingers crossed!

You can get very cheap ones online that are around 30p each - they are literally a small strip that you dip in to a pot of urine but they do the job. (Started doing pregnancy tests each week when my period was first late as I did not know what my body was doing and thought it could start getting expensive using the shop ones!) When it was very early on the amount of HCG (what the pregnancy tests detect) in your urine can be very weak, so try a test first thing in the morning when it is strongest.
