Still early for you all so don't give up hope yet :) Sorry for your BFN though.

I've had cramps today which I don't normally this far before AF (dpo 7) and feeling a bit icky, have bad hayfever too through and ate lots so could be lots of things but secretly hoping! Wink

Fed up as can't take anything for my hayfever just in case so really struggling whenever I leave the house :( but will be worth it if I am pg (and really annoying if I'm not!)

Levana · 22/04/2011 17:50

Well i've had my hour of despair... which involves me thinking I will never get a baby - all this on a 8dpo negative result .

Am now trying to have a chilled out night, DP is away all weekend so have place to myself.

going - fx for Monday, hope it is good news.

Lilliana - good symptons with the cramps, though rubbish with the hayfaver. Hope you feel better.

goingmadtrying · 23/04/2011 06:56

Morning ladies feeling much better this morning, took my oldest ds to his football presentation last night he was so pleased with his trophy, I'm so proud of him Grin

I have a busy couple of days now got to work and also finish packing etc for our jollies, I'll try and check in before I go away when I've tested fx for everyone due to test we need to have a good run of bfp's. Have a lovely weekend all :)

Levana sorry you've been having a tough time. This 2ww could drive anyone mad. Hope you managed a nice relaxed evening - 8DPO is very early.
I think you and I have similar stats - I'm feeling the insanity too!! Wink
I promised I wouldn't symptom spot but it's impossible not too. Roll on tomorrow morning when I'll be 10DPO - too early, I know! - but I'll be testing (So much for holding out until after af!)
One way or another, I'll be either celebrating or drowning my sorrows in a very large easter egg [busmile]

DreamingOfABump · 23/04/2011 07:07

Day 16 here and my phone app thinks i.m. ovulating today! No. Egg. White or anything yet though but switched from alternate days to every day swi. One cycle seems to last bids so it must seem. Like forever when it takes months and months to happen. Fingers crossed. For some. bfps soon- the December bus had loads so hopefully we Will follow! X

Byrnsie30 · 23/04/2011 14:38

Hiya,
Can I hop on too?
So glad there are other's as obsessed as me. Had a quick look at page one of this thread. There are a few people with similar stats to myself.
I'm 11-12 dpo AF due 27/28 Apr. I tested yesterday (way too early) and got bfn.

Trying not to symptom spot and also to wait til at least tomorrow to test again, but I have plenty and varied tests in the house so will I have the will power?!!
These talk threads are really helpful during the dreaded 2WW.

blue22 · 23/04/2011 16:06

I also stupidly POAS - surprise surprise it was a BFN. Why do we do it??? Don't feel too Sad as realistically know it's too early, but can't help feeling that if I was pregnant a faint line would have shown!
Sorry for everyone elses BFN - shall we try to hold off til tuesday?

Liliana1 · 23/04/2011 16:19

Be strong blue (says she who will be madly PO any S she can find next week!) Sorry for your BFN but glad your not too down, it is too early really.

Hi again Byrnsie

Fx sarah, enjoy your egg either way.

Think we are ready for some BFP's now. I'm symptom spotting like mad but could just be I'm out of sync with the holidays - always get ill as soon as the last bell rings!

75sarah · 23/04/2011 18:43

Hi Byrnsie. Welcome to the bus. Have you added your stats yet?
This last week of the wait is hideous blue - perhaps try again in a few more days.
Can't wait for these bfp's to start. x

Byrnsie30 · 23/04/2011 19:30

goingmadtrying · 24/04/2011 07:01

Well poas my tesco cheapy and got bfn :(

I'm due tues/weds do you think I'd have a feint bfp by now? My last2 pregnancies got digi bfp early? Do you think you produce hcg at the same level for different pregnancies?

OP posts:
75sarah · 24/04/2011 08:10

Hi gmt
I don't know about hcg levels but I've also done a test this morning...and also got bfn. I'm due Wednesday too. I pulled the test apart to try to see if there was a faint line but not a thing (Ridiculous isn't it?)
Why do we do this to ourselves?!
Feeling very sorry for myself - as you probably are too.
Am heading for the easter eggs!!

Liliana1 · 24/04/2011 08:24

Happy Easter!!
Sorry about your BFN's :( I have no idea about hcg levels as have NEVER had BFP!! I know there are people who don't get a line until a few days after AF is due though so think there is still a good chance for you.

Enjoy your Easter and eat eggs :)

75sarah · 24/04/2011 08:28

I've just found this which is quite hopeful:
www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/

Of course, this obsessing doesn't help but what's a girl to do?!
Am heading out for the day to try and keep my mind off things. Fx for anyone else testing today...or heading out of the house to stop them selves from going mad! Wink

goingmadtrying · 24/04/2011 08:33

Sarah lol I just fished it out the bin to check a line hadn't developed haha

still big fat nothing!!!

Thanks liliana just wondered if you developed hcg at the same rate each pregnancy? Will just have to hope it's late developing or the test not very sensitive :)

OP posts:
CODwidow · 24/04/2011 09:13

GMT yes hcg develops at the same rate each time but it all depends when the egg meets the sperm as that's when you'll start producing it. With 2 of my pregnancies I had bfp 2 days before af and the other was over a week after I was due and then I didn't test until I was already 9 wks with my last. So still a big chance that'll be a bfp! Xx

blue22 · 24/04/2011 11:52

Happy Easter to you all! I'm so weak - POAS again this morning, and BFN. Oh well. AF due on thursday so still really early, and feel very nauseous, so still a bit hopeful. Hope you all have lovely days. I'm organising an egg hunt for DD and some of her friends this afternoon which will take my mind of things hopefully. And maybe chocolate will quell the nausea??!! Grin Have great days and fingers crossed for BFPs soon xx

goingmadtrying · 24/04/2011 13:25

Oooh thanks cod so the difference is when it implants etc, thanks for hope :)

Sarah just looked at the website it says I'm not due until Friday but ff and my calculations make weds????

OP posts:
Byrnsie30 · 24/04/2011 15:05

Hey all,
I gave in and tested this morning - bfn! Very disappointed. But still 5 days before expected AF. I looked at that website 75sarah and it was reassuring and helpful. It told me not to test until at least Monday! I'm now determined to wait til at least Tuesday. However, I have used early detection tests before and got accurate results 5 days before so not too hopeful of a bfp this time!
I also fished the test out of the bin Goingmadtrying - you are not alone!!
Felt rather sorry for myself this am - all my friends have children or are pregnant so all of our conversations/activities are kiddie based - driving me mad!!

DreamingOfABump · 24/04/2011 17:30

gah where is that chuffing egg?!
No signs of ovulation and its cycle day 16 of 27. have been avidly watching for some ewcm or a pos ovu test and nada. the ovu tests never seem to pick up anything for me :( i must have super quick surge. was hoping to be able to do some every day bonking at ovulation, but dunno when it is!
This is cycle 1 of ttc and frustrated already, doesnt bode well. will be a veritable loon by cycle 6.
hurrumphhh.
ps, good luck for those at the top of the list whose dates are coming round soon. the decemebr bus had millions of bfp's, we're not doing quite so wel...YET!

75sarah · 24/04/2011 18:03

Yes, I'm not sure what to make of it GMT. Think I'm clutching at straws!
Sorry to hear about bfn's - we don't seem to be having much luck so far. Come on bfps! Where are you?!
I know where you're coming from byrnsie. I had to go to hospital last week and the unit I was next to was the early pregnancy unit. Women with bumps everywhere. It's difficult to be rational sometimes!
Are you on the internet cheapies, Dreaming? I had no success with them but got happy faces easily with the OV sticks. These companies make a fortune out of us don't they! I'm sure I missed OV in cycle 1; thought we'd caught it in cycle 2 and should definitely have got it this time...but no bfp as yet. x
