Hiya
My baby boy is now 3 months old. He was born by caesarian section which happened right at the last second of the birth, I was fully dilated and had a quick labour until he was found to be in a wrong position and so he couldn't exit. My pregnancy was totally fine with no problems whatsoever until then, and I recovered really very quickly after the caesarian, I felt completely fine very quickly afterwards.
Conceiving my baby though wasn't easy, and I conceived him by IVF in the end, after unexplained infertility. I conceived by IVF first time we tried.
Now, I understand that my body may be quite fertile, and if so, I want to take advantage of this, as I am 39 and I want to have another baby. I don't want to take precautions, I want to get pregnant as soon as possible. However, I have been told that as I had caesarian I need to wait.
Can anyone tell me what the risks are if I do not wait to get pregnant after a caesarian, keeping in mind that I have seemed to recover fast, and that if I am going to have trouble concieving again, I'd like to knwo that sooner rather than later.
I am breastfeeding, and my periods have already restarted.
Thanks!!!!!
Heather
