Funny clear blue test result...

I took a clear blue early test this afternoon, and a very thin blue line appeared immediately. Has anyone else had this? Is it negative?

I've had the test for a while but it expires in Jan 2012, so in date but might have gone bad?

I've had the weirdest cycle, I don't keep track but it is usually 4 weeks. I had a very small bleed about a week before AF was due and now nothing, which is why I took a test... seems odd.

Was the thin line the line 2 say positive if so and its faint its more than likely u are just hgg levels not strong enough yet

I have these kind of results no matter how faint or thin my lines they have always indicated a pregnancy

Thanks for your replies. Yes, it was the line that would make the cross. I will get a different test tomorrow, but my hunch is I'm not pregnant.

Well AF arrived this morning! I have to say if we had been actively TTC I might have taken that result yesterday as an early BFP... and then been really upset! Beware these kinds of tests...
