Hi Melies nope it hasn't been discussed!! I am really not sure what I will do. Suspect it won't be discussed until after AF stops and we have to make a decision (probably in the middle of DTD!).

I think he thinks despite him airing his views about wanting to wait, that we will still be trying this month because he told me he would try. He seems to think as long as he says he will it doesn't matter to me if deep down I know he really doesn't want to try yet....I suppose it depends on how much that does matter to me....

Chloe55 · 06/04/2011 17:49

Happy Birthday really ARe you doing anything nice?

Hopeful I am in Shock at your nurse, that is utterly unbelievable!! A def complaint should be made. She is in one of the most caring professions and has made you feel liek shit in about 2 seconds unneccessarily - what a twat! Sorry for my language, I am utterly appauled.

layla Try not to worry at the moment - some tests are more sensitive than others. Try a different one tomorrow morning. Good luck.

mumtum If you are still lurking then I am so so sorry Sad

Waves to everyone else.

Well, I keep trying to pretend I don't know what day I am on but I do know that this time last month I had already peed on 2 sticks! Grin Am still getting a tiny bit of midcycle bleeding when wiping like the past couple of months so I am pretty sure it hasn't happened again this month as everything seems to be doing the same thing as previous months, same pains, same type of bleeding, same type of symptoms so I am having a bet with myself and seeing if I can wait til Monday to either test or see if AF turns up, I am expecting her over the weekend so we shall see.

Am bloody knackered, have been monitoring an anaesthetic for the past 5 hours and my brain feels like it will explode so have treated myself to a glass of sparkly and sat in the garden for 15 mins.

meliesmummy · 06/04/2011 18:00

Chloe I hope it's your body teasing you and not af...well done for avoiding the sticks! Enjoy the garden, I did, a bit too much...I'm slightly sunburnt! I thought it's only April, can't be bothered, so it's my own fault!

Cep I know, I'm lucky, she loves her sleep, I usually have to wake her up at 3 otherwise she would stay there for hours!

laylas, oh no, fx for tomorrow, what brands are you using?

Brooke, glad you sorted it out with your friend.

OP posts:
cep · 06/04/2011 18:49

laylas try a digital with fmu, they at least have it in writing, even if they're not as sensitive. i hate the lined ones.

chloe how's the job going are you enjoying it?

brooke glad you managed to talk to her about it.

my ds seems to have turned into the child who's parents i felt sorry for while i sat their smugly with my "perfectly" behaved 1.5 yr old, while they ran riot all over the restaurant. took him to the local hungry horse just down the road as dh is out tonight, he would not sit still, twice ran round to the pub side of the building, kept crawling under the table or along the bench. put him in the high chair and he can undo the belt so he just kept standing up, kept shouting on and off, and generally really embarrassing. Walking home and he ran off in the other direction towards to road, thankfully turned left not right so gate inbetween pavement and road, and ran onto a patch of grass where dog walkers let their dogs go to the toilet without picking it up, thankfully he missed it. How the hell am i going to cope with two if i can't even get 1 to behave. am suddenly very scared, and feeling very much like a shit mum and just don't know what to do, i just can't control him anymore. Sad

sorry to end with a mememe, just feeling really low. I know this isn't the behaviour thread but you ladies are like family.

Reallyusefulengine · 06/04/2011 19:22

Cep Your DS sounds just like mine at that age, and just like my DD now! Don't worry, just keep him out of harm whilst he explores the world. My Ds was bonkers from birth so I never got to do any smug parenting to begin with! I think we're barred from most establishments in London! You will be fine, have you joined any threads for people expecting their 2nd (do they exist)? Cep. it's a bit sad that you aren't feeling over the moon following your scan yesterday - it would have been nice for you to have a couple of days (at least) of being a bit oblivious to anything but relief. I imagine you must be knackered, is there anyway you can get a break, even for a few hours? Wish you could have a lovely sleep, a nap, a rest. Sending a hug xxx

meliesmummy · 06/04/2011 19:41

Oh cep, it's his age! They all do it, and then they turn 3 and go back to being angels again! He's just testing his boundaries, it WILL get better. Will he go on reins/in a pushchair so that you know exactly where he is when you are by a road or somewhere you need to keep him next to you? I'm not sure what to suggest, I know that it sounds trite but all you can do is keep him safe when you need to and let him run it off when it's safe. We did a reward chart when dd was about that age, she needed 20 a week to get a magazine. I've also been known to just leave the room and let her scream it out when I'm at the end of my tether, or send her out. You will manage two, or course you will x

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 06/04/2011 19:41

Of course

OP posts:
brooke89 · 06/04/2011 20:05

cep your not a shit mum ( i know i dont know you but i can tell!ha ) it's just his age and he will grow out of it, hes just trying to test you! And you will cope with 2!! Try something like melies make a chart and give him a sticker everytime he is good and if hes naughty take one off!

cep · 06/04/2011 20:48

thank you ladies, sorry to be so silly, it's just that it hit me tonight how bad he's actually gotten.

rue we're away for the night on the 17th, my parents are looking after ds for me. hopefully i'll be able to get a goodnights sleep. i annoying he slept through last night but i still bloomin woke up at 4.

mel he used to go on reins, and i think i'll have to get them out, same as a booster seat that went on his chair which i can fasten him into, i think i'll have to start doing that again and just ignore the screaming. I used to do behaviour charts which was like a chore chart had a little list of what he needed to do (like stop shouting etc) and he got a little banana foam sweetie thing for each one he got a tick for. he loved ticking them. think i'll have to start that again.

brooke i really hope so.

Collie2 · 06/04/2011 21:35

Hi everyone, missed a lot over past day or so, so just catching up.

Happy birthday really even though your not celebrating I thought you?d appreciate this

((Hugs)) for harassed I hope you?re feeling a bit better. Its understandable that it will take time to get over. I can imagine it just bring ups all those sad raw feelings from your first mc, as well as having to deal with this one too. Hope you are being nice to yourself and are getting lots of love and hugs at home ? Remind DH its our prerogative to moan about our weight and then stuff our faces with chocolate ? without being questioned or judged, especially after what we?ve all been though!

mels try not to lose hope for this month. Your cycle last month was really odd so it could be that you might be earlier in your cycle than you think. Are you dtd regularly anyway?

Big squishy (((hugs))) for mumtum if you?re lurking. I am so so sorry for you. Hope you?re doing ok. Xx

brooke glad you sorted things out with your friend and I am glad (this once) that AF has arrived. Its helps to move on and focus on he future doesn?t it?

Hi wellie sorry you wasted a test yesterday?.. did you poas this morning????? FX

stitch congratulations on the bfp. Fab news just before your birthday. Enjoy your trip to New York, you lucky lucky lady! Smile

laylas Try not to worry about the line. How many dpo are you? If your testing early its very likely to be the tests. Try again tomorrow with a reliable brand.

bump sorry your still not sure how oh feels. Do you think you?ll broach it again? If he was as happy as you say before your mc, I am sure he would be very happy if you fell pg again.

Lovely to hear from you chole and glad you are doing well steering clear of the sticks! Fx AF stays away at the weekend, I?m keeping my eye on your beanbag in the freak out room, making sure noone nabs it! Smile

cep I am really sorry about your ds. You shouldn?t be so hard on yourself. My SIL is having the same thing with my dn. She?s getting really cheeky and apparently her new word is ?whatever?. She?s not even 3 and just 2 months ago butter wouldn?t have melted in her mouth. melslooks like my dn is having her terrible 2?s a year late lol

cep · 07/04/2011 07:31

morning ladies. hope you're all ok.

wellie did you test?

collie goodluck with midwife.

laylas did you test again?

ok i'm back to doom and gloom again, big blob of brown bloody cm this morning. wouldn't be able to get a scan again if i wanted to as they don't do it within 2 weeks at which case i'll be nearly 12 weeks and might as well wait for that one. but thinking not good again now. Sad

I'm sorry i keep moaning on here lately and nothing to do with ttc Blush

Collie2 · 07/04/2011 07:45

cep ((hugs)) I'm so sorry, but you know brown can be ok. And your scan the other day was just perfect. Chances of NOT mc after seeing a healthy heartbeat at bean at 8 wks are 98% and at 10wks 99.4% see here so you would be somewhere inbetween with GREAT odds in your favour. Try not to worry sweet, 2 weeks is a long time to wait if you're stressing. It will all be fine. Xx

meliesmummy · 07/04/2011 07:51

Oh Cep, can you phone your mw and beg? When I was pg with dd I had a scan at 8ish weeks on a Friday, then I had another fresh bleed on the Saturday (I think the actual fanjo cam caused it tbh, did you have an internal on Tuesday?) so I went to A&E and they booked me in for the following Monday, that 2 weeks thing seems harsh! Or could you ask your gp to check your cervix? collie is right though, the odds are in your favour x

Good luck with mw collie!

Any news wellie or laylas?

OP posts:
cep · 07/04/2011 08:33

it's what happened this time when they called to book the appt on tuesday they said not within 2 weeks. can't afford a private one, i'm just going to have to wait and try not to stress. Wondering if itis because i'm getting too stressed, ds was awake for a couple of hours during the night again, and with last night....can stress cause it?

OP posts:
Reallyusefulengine · 07/04/2011 10:04

Cep Thinking of you - I agree with Collie2, the chances of a m/c now are very low. Agree that an internal scan may have caused the brown bleed. Can you call your midwife and see if they can see you earlier?

Collie Good luck with the MW - will lurk to hear news

Wellie Did you test?
Laylas Did you test again?

Thank you for the birthday wishes yesterday, am relieved to have got that out of the way, was finding the prospect of birthday without pregnancy unbearable.

Waves at everyone else xx

Bumpwanted · 07/04/2011 11:46

Awh Cep hun so sorry to hear that. I agree though the chances of MC are so low and brown blood is fine so long as its not the scary red stuff (and even then the baby can still be fine).

Do you know (or can you look on the net) of any hospitals that have a walk in scan clinic. I know we have them at hospitals in London and you don't even have to tell your GP or midwife you are going. You can self refer. You have to go really early in the morning usually and tick a sheet to say e.g. brown CM or pains or you are worried, and then ask you no questions just scan you. Where are you based? I'll have a look at some hospitals near you to see if they do it if that would help.

Really glad you managed to get through your birthday. I actually had a glass of bubbles for you last night in the end (upgrade from the vino!)

Hi to everyone else! xxx

harassedinherpants · 07/04/2011 12:16

Morning,

Cep sorry you're going through this again, seems particularly cruel after the reassurance of a scan. Bumps is a good idea though. I also agree re ds's behaviour. It's a phase and it's not your fault! Dd pushes the boundaries sometimes and we have a discipline clamp down, I find it's the only way.

really glad you got through your birthday x

Collie good luck with mw. I was lurking on the updiffed thread, and kids toothpaste is my top tip for all you toothpaste boak-ers! I swear toothpaste sets me off the minute there's a speck of hcg in my blood, and this is my way round it.

harassedinherpants · 07/04/2011 12:17

Oh forgot to update about me haha.

I have docs tonight to get blood test results and try to persuade her to send me for more tests after "only" two consecutive mc's. Dh is coming too thank goodness, am a bit worried I'm going to fall apart Sad.

Think I'm ov'ing though......

angela85 · 07/04/2011 12:56

HI ladies....sorry its been so long, been working evenings and my DD has turned into a monster these last couple of days so just haven't been able to get on!

Really hope everyone is ok, this thread moves way too quick for me, and within a couple of days not being here, i have no idea whats going on!!!

cep I really hope everything goes ok....i'm going to jump on the 'try not to worry' bandwagon, which i know is much easier said than done!... If the bleeding got any worse could you go to A&E? surely they could scan you there? with regards to your DS, i know exactly how you feel...my DD is being a nightmare at the moment, i simply can't control her! She shouts at me, calls me stupid constantly, runs away from me when we're out, and has started this awful growling..which sounds comical, but believe me if you could see the anger in her face when she does it, its quite scary! no idea whats causing it, so i'm putting it down to her age for the time being.

as for me. i've no idea what my body is doing at the moment. have started bleeding, but only very light and only when i wipe. on top of that got crazy pg symptoms, horrible mood swings, sickness the last 4 mornings and sore breasts. thought maybe af was coming, but not sure when to expect it as only 3 weeks after erpc. just not sure, i'll keep you updated.

Hi to everyone else, i'll try to get on here more often, so i know how everone's doing. xxxx

laylasmummy09 · 07/04/2011 13:19

hi ladies cep sorry your having such a rough time i hope it get easier on you soon
a tested this morning with cb digi and it was negative but got a really posive opk yet ff has put ov day as day 13, no sign of af yet im soo confused Hmm
hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine x

Collie2 · 07/04/2011 13:25

laylas how many dpo are you? and what cycle day?

i say this with caution as i don't want to get your hopes up given the circumstances but opks can pick up hcg levels whoch could also lead to a line. CB digis are not very senstitive so it could be that its early? what stick did you use when you got your first line?
sorry you having to go through this x

olismum23 · 07/04/2011 13:42

Afternoon Ladies,

God i feel awful today, roasting hot, neauses, and dizzy but i must have a bug ov calander said i would have ov on the 3rd so only 4dpo..:(

laylas sorry your going through this it awful i had faint lines last month then nothing i think it was the crap tests i was using saying that CB digi is known for not being as sensitive as others so maybe try predictor early result or FR?

Cep If it is only brown i would not worry I was one of the unlucky few to see a heartbeat and the baby went but it was bright blood not brown and i was only 6+2 supposed to be (8+2). babys growth being spot on etc i would not worry im sure all is well internal exams can cause old blood pooled at the cervix to come out.

hope your doc listens to you harrassed

to all i have missed

meliesmummy · 07/04/2011 14:23

Get well soon olis

Angela have you done a pg test to check if all the hormones have gone? If not it might be worth it (and sorry if you've already mentioned that you have!)

Any sign of af laylas? collie is right, opks pick up hcg too, and cb digis aren't very sensitive.

OP posts:
laylasmummy09 · 07/04/2011 16:07

it was suresign i think but im not sure how sensitive they are, im on cd 28 and 14 dpo, i had heared opks pick up hcg thats what made me try it because id run out of hpt's Blush no sign of af though x
