Well acupuncture seems to have really messed with me. I've been using OPKs for 4 months now and each cycle I have had a one day positive followed by ov pain (followed by, for the months I have been temping, a temp rise). I have had two acupuncture sessions and have just had a three day LH surge, a few twinges but no sustained ov pain like I usually get and no temp rise yet. :( Iam now on CD19 and am not sure what is happening.

I have another appointment tomorrow so perhaps I will be able to find out then what is going on.

Hope your feeling slightly better poppyjen, this whole process can be so so stressful, i actually have my ds and dd and never had much problem or even thought about it much, this time i feel very stressed already and its only the beginning not sure why this is this time round maybe putting more pressure on ourselves.

Dp actually brought some ovulation things yesterday, have never used them before and dont undrestand them much

Still no af here, don't know what is going on just a waiting game

Can't wait to actually have a af and start from the beginning as at the moment i dont know where i am in my cycle or what is going on which i think is causeing all my no patience and stressyness

Sorry i've been away from the forums for a while..... been really really busy and i had a bit of a break down over TTCing, it's just too much for me and i started getting so stressed out!!!

both myself and my DP have decided to stop with all the counting and the charting and the reading every little sign because it was stressing me out too much on top of everything else thats going on in our lives at the moment!!! so instead we're just SWI and not thinking about it as much so it means that we don't feel like we've failed.

To add to the orignial pressure, i dont have regular cycles and i'm on CD 35 and still 0 show of anything argh!!

Hi everyone, mind if I gatecrash your bus? Have been lurking for a while, but only had my coil removed on Wednesday, so I guess I am right at the start... Have no idea where I am in my cycle as haven't had AF for about 5 years since I had my coil.... Here goes I guess...

Hello :). Been away and wow theres lots of posts to catch up on. I POAS this morning and was negative AF still hasnt arrived but hey. No doubt will be peeing on another stick shortly unless AF arrives soon

treaclechops, I've come to exactly the same decision. Ttc is driving me mad so next month we're not bothering with any of the charts/ monitors etc etc. See if anything happens...

I'm on boring old CD9 so bugger all to report from me. Though have just realised that I've somehow got the wrong date for when AF is next due so I'll correct that now. Feeling a lot more level headed this cycle, although I'm reserving the right to go stark raving bonkers come the 2ww!

Thanks, treaclechops. I'm rocking to and fro in a manic way as I type . Af due this morning but no sign. It's never late but then I know from reading other ladies experiences that your body can play some pretty mean tricks. Not getting af this morning - and I did wake at least 6 times in the night to check my knickers! - has made me really happy...so I'm not doing a preg test to ruin it. buries head deeply into the sand

Strange one for you ladies...after my extremely down day yesterday I had the urge to POAS for some reason, incredibly frustrated by constant EWCM but no ovulation detected....anyway I have run out of ovulation sticks so I did a pregnancy one just for the hell of it.

I think I saw a line.

Very faint but there in the time limit (on internet cheapy) and same again this morning. If I hadn't done ovulation tests which show up with a line even if it is not positive (green end instead of blue IYKWIM) then I probably wouldn't notice it but there it was.

Haven't told DH yet as I may just be seeing things. Went to Superdrug to buy some of their early tests as I have heard good things about them (on 3 for 2 as well) so we'll see what the next few days bring. I have run out of internet cheapies now so can't do any more obsessing for a bit, at least with the "posh" tests it is allegedly less ambiguous.

Trying not to get my hopes up as this is very weird timing and I could just be going mad...

Also its crazy timing as I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning as I freaked out a bit at the weekend when during my cervical position checking antics I felt a small hard lump on the opening of my cervix so will have to admit to crazy POAS addiction and seeing things that aren't there to the good doctor....

Feel kind of pregnant but that could be a million things inc AF. Gone off food - aren't you supposed to be more hungry? Have Amazon internet cheapies and POAS (not due till sun / mon) and no line in the gap, but was pink under the bottom bit so peeled it back and there is a line - but in the wrong place!? What does this mean? Is it reacting to the glue or whatever holds the things together? - I know it's also early, will someone stop me obsessing please?!

Well I just POAS after holding on for 4 1/2 hours - nothing. I guess last night's IC line was a phantom. Back to limbo for me I will POAS with FMU tomorrow morning just to be sure but then I will be holding off until Tues at the earliest.

and my car failed its MOT.

wow sudden rush of action, hope all those with ??lines will be back soon with some BFP's to report, its very exciting!!

well ive POAS well many recently and nothing dont have the usual af symptoms but im going to try holding of peeing on another stick untill friday may even invest it a posh swanky one not rateing this ebay cheapy ones that highly i dont think. fx for everyone else :)

Oh forgot to say Liliana the pink bit I think you are talking about is the bit under the flap that attaches the absorbant bit...the dye collects there on the adhesive I think, the lines should both be on the smooth white bit so I would guess not a BFP (yet) I am afraid.

The internet cheapie tests drive you crazy if you let them (I too have succumbed). Best way to know what to look for is to get some cheapie ovulation tests - these will show you what a faint positive looks like as they show up two lines even if they are "negative". You will see then that even if you have a faint positive it will be the same width as the control line and will be visible without too much squinting and holding it upside down standing on your head with your back to the sun and directly over a light source....which of course I have never done ....

Thank you so much poppy. I know it's too early but couldn't help myself and then bits of pink everywhere .... it's too much!! So glad I can stop second guessing. Holding off POAS till Friday as might actually tell me something useful then. I can't imagine what you mean about the squinting, tipping to the light, getting a magnifying glass ...!
Sorry to hear about your car :( I have picked up my new (to me) 5 door 'family' car yesterday - hoping I will have the family to put in it soon!

toddle if nothing happens by Monday I will be investing in a posh swanky one too - maybe even one that says 'pregnant / not pregnant' so there is no confusion :)

liliana the same here not doing it again until friday. we must be thinking pretty similar as i peeled mine appart today too and yeah theres a pink line where the absorbant pad thing stops. fingers crossed for us both to have some nice bold lines/pregnant words appearing on ffriday :)
