Congratulations Shobbs - wonderful news and hopefully a good omen for all of us!

Am struggling to even imagine being pg at the moment. the first couple of cycles I was convinced it would happen so quickly - I mean all that effort trying not to get pg for years had to be worth something! if AF seemed to be overdue at all (my cycle varies so much it's hard to tell), I'd be drifting round the office like I had some wonderful secret, and imagining finally being able to tell people (DH and I have been married for ages and so many people will be so happy when we finally announce, and we've always insisted we'd only do it when it was right for us, and now it is right and I want to be able to make them and us happy with it!!) and then the BFN and AF again each time.

Am telling myself to be patient - taking a year or more is normal - but feels like forever!

and everywhere I go, work, friends etc everyone I come across seems to be pg!

sorry. small rant; nearly over. had EWCM on Thurs eve, Fri and Sat, and DH didn't get back from work trip til late Sat eve, so we SWIed Sat night and twice on Sunday (was also pleased to see him again ) but really convinced we have missed out for this month. right. positive thinking. there is next month.

roll on BFPs for all of us!!

wouldbe although I class myself as on my 5th cycle thats when I started manically working out dates and all that, we've been 'casually' trying for a year and finally realised the have fun and hope style was not working for us. V frustrated now and like you EVERYONE seems to be pg. I am pleased for them but jealous too - [stamps feet] when's it my turn?!!?

Thank u everyone for ur comments still in shock the fact my DH was working away and did the OV test the night he got back, was sure we missed our chance this time

I would recommend buying uni-test ovulation tests online, 4 of us have got pg after first month using them,

I always assumed I ovulated about 14days into cycle but unitest clearly stated I was on day 20 so was calculating wrong, I have everything crossed for u all and will be dropping in from time to see ur all doing xx

IKWYM Liliana. I am so happy when friends and work colleagues tell me they are pg, and you can have 'that conversation', asking the questions, being happy for them, and then after it's like 'I want that too!! when when when??'

Haven't tried ov tests yet, but I'm kind of adding one additional effort each month, partly as a boost for myself, and partly to keep me from driving DH crazy (I'm the organised one at the best of times, so I don't want this to end up too military! he's enthusiastic at the moment and has wanted kids for longer than I have, but still, it does have to retain the fun part too!) if nothing this month, maybe I'll try the tests, as they seem to have helped shobbs

shobbs congratulations!!!!! That is wonderful news well done! I hadn't considered using ov kits as seems fairly obvious from cm - is that why you thought day 14 or was it because that's the average? Would be good to know so I can make a decision on it though I is quite tempting just as a good luck omen. Also, anyone know more detail about the 'normal' stats - ie 20% chance on any one cycle for a healthy fertile couple - is this using ov kits and charting or other indicator or is this just without using contraception iyswim? Would one's chances be improved if using kit etc? Same goes for the 'one yer is 'normal'' thing.

carlita as far as I know those kind of stats apply to a healthy couple having sex every other day throughout the cycle - I think! I don't think it can do any harm finding out about ovulation etc though to have an idea of what days are best for you

well i ovulated on 13/14th so that moves my AF due to the 25th. im also rather pleased as we are takin my darlin little sister and DSS away for the easter weekend :)

Got some bad news had bad pains the last few days and doctors have confirmed that I've had a chemical pregnacy, ( very early miscarrage) just got to wait to have a bleed,

Update for me today - CD 17, I have had EWCM for the past 5 days I thought this only happened to teenagers and temps not showing ovulation yet, not sure DH and I have the energy to keep this up have to admit we gave last night a miss as DH was asleep before I came to bed, didn't have the heart to wake him....felt guilty for not SWI but low and behold more EWCM today so I guess the egg is still for the catching

Anyway, happy Wednesday ladies, it is now officially nearly the weekend (and a 4 day one at that), better get the easter eggs in to pass around the bus on Sunday
