Hi,

Can anyone help me with some probably basic stuff but it's all new to me sorry.Blush
We have been TTC No.2 since before Xmas and still no BFP so this month I decided to use a clearblue ovulation test kit to try & nail the fertile days.

So...I start testing as it says on the instructions (day 6 for me cos my cycle was 26 days last month) and used all of the 7 sticks up & they all said I wasn't ovulating Confused Confused The 1st day of my last period was 8th March and my last cycle was 26 days long so I should have been fertile from Thurs 17th - Tues 22nd but the test said I wasn't.

Then yesterday & this morning I have a few cramps which feel like ovulation pains but no stick left to check & can't afford to keep buying kits at £22 a time.

AM I OVULATING OR NOT lol???? :) Can anyone help with some simple equasions haha

Hi

I would buy some cheap opks, they are just as good, tescos sell 7 for £7 or try wilkinsons or amazon. it could just be that you weren't testing at the right time and 'missed' the surge. Also the non digital ones will show a line that should get darker over a few days, whereas a digital one would need a definate surge to be positive.

These kits just don't work for some people, in fact, the month that I got pregnant I only ever had faint lines, so I wouldn't worry just yet, especially if you are having symptoms of ovulation. HTH.

The one I had was the digital one that shows a circle for negative & a smiley face for positive. they are meant to be really really good. I can't say they DIDN'T work for me cos I might have tested at the wrong time like you say but I certainly didn't get a positive result after 7 testing days.

Didn't know you could get cheaper ones so i'll have a look, thanks for the advice x
