Fertility test results - AMH and day 3 FSH/LH - can you help me interpret?

Hello.

I'm hoping there is someone that can help me double check my understanding of the results I've just had - I think they seem fairly encouraging and pretty good for a (nearly) forty three year old.

Day 3 tests
FSH - 8.6 (within 'good' range)?
LH - 3.7 (within 'normal' range)?

AMH - 7.6 - (within 'reduced' range, but not 'low')?

I am hoping to book in with GP on Friday but am desperate to have someone say 'yes, these are good results' - have googled, and they seem ok.

Thanks.

They do seem OK for a nearly 43 yr old - your AMH does indicate reduced ovarian reserve but guess that is no surprise!

Hi I think they sound great! Smile

hi hairy when you googled, did you find this site?

www.fertilityplus.org/faq/hormonelevels.html#female

It definitely agrees with your summary i.e. FSH = "good" & LH = "normal"

it doesnt say anything about AMH though.

Hope this is the first of more good news to come Smile
