Have been ttc since october but cycle only just getting back to normal after injections.
Have used opk's on and off but never got a line of any degree of faintness.
This was a definate line but not as dark as the tester.
So does this mean:
-I have come in on the tail end of ovulation.
-I am right at the beginning of it
-my lh surge is just not that strong (as sure I read somewhere it can be 7.4 to ovulate but tests only pick up from 7.7)
-I am not ovulating at all as it is not as dark, even though a line has never come up before and that I am slightly bonkers?

TIA

Try again tomorrow?

I'd suggest charting which can show ovulation and can be used in conjunction with the OPK's, plus it has the bonus of being free. I spent a fortune on OPK's to no avail and the month I did get pg with DD1 I never got +ve on the OPK but ovulation was detected on my chart.

Are you getting any fertile cervical mucus? (looks like raw egg white)

I think I did on friday which would tie in with it all but I do get fairly thick mucus throughout my cycle so never too sure.

I've been using digital opks which work perfectly for me. Every month after a few days of EWCM I get a Smile. Two months ago I bought cheaper tests online for which the lines ought to be the same darkness. According to these tests I have never had a positive result. The second line gets darker on the day I get the Smile with the digital, but it's no way near as dark as the test line. Other people on here have had the same experience. Maybe you could try the digis one month, though they are really expensive. Charting is cheaper and gives you more info, but it makes me obsessive!
