One bean with hb of 175 measuring spot on for dates, 8+3 Grin Grin

Consultant was lovely, was shocked at lack of any extra care this pg and says he will scan me at his nhs clinic at 16 weeks to stop me going mad Grin

So, first hurdle over with, now onto the next...

AandRMum · 19/04/2011 18:09

Glad your day went well Diamond It is always lovely when you have a burst of energy. My house could do with some of that so if you have any to spare come over our way!!

freelance thanks so much for casting your experienced eye over my stats. I have a similar Vit D result to you which I think is very typical living in this part of the world! T3 and T4 was not tested as my lazy endo didn't bother writing to authorise them grr! Good to see your antibodies going down! Are you going to take steroids?

I think I am going to self medicate more water to lower urea level, lots of time outdoors to up Vit D and santogen to catch anything else!

Grin at mummya

Awesome news Iz chuffed to bits for you, one more step along the way, one more box ticked. Lovely x

St Mary's, or at least the secretary to the consultant I'm under has agreed to write letter to GP saying she's ok to prescribe the progesterone. Hopefully he will and I'll be getting it v soon. They've also booked me in to have my bloods taken again so it can be tested whilst pg to make sure it's still ok, and, gulp, a scan at 6 weeks on 4th May.

Freezingmyarseoff · 19/04/2011 20:23

yay, yay, yay for Izzy

Thanks Ladybee and MA on the opk stuff. We did SWI but perhaps not as much as we should have as bit confused. Will try the grapefruit juice and water next cycle, and also tests in am and pm until I'm a bit more sure about what's happening. I think temp charting is a lost cause, I have enough trouble remembering to take my meds each day let alone at the same time each day. We'll see though.
Waves to everyone else

YouRemindMeOfTheBabe · 19/04/2011 21:08

Woohoo izz Huzzah for ickle bean! So chuffed for you, grinning away xx

YeyBB! bet that's a weight off. And A scan! How exciting! Eeeep!

It's just a quickie, ill catch up in the am, just got in from the gym, need to eat and bathe.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 19/04/2011 21:33

Fab news re the progesterone bb fx it gets to you soon!

freezing I could never be really sure I was getting + opks, just used to go with the "most positive". For the last month I went onto the cb digi opks, more expensive but much easier to judge a positive when you get a smiley face!

I don't understand the thyroid test results but aandr they sound ok? How are you feeling about it all?

yrmotb you are being v good re gym etc, making me feel guilty! Really must get off my bum and do some exercise soon!

  • thanks for all the Grin s!! Made me Grin!
Freezingmyarseoff · 19/04/2011 22:08

oh x-posts with you BB grand news on the progesterone.

YouRemindMeOfTheBabe · 20/04/2011 08:28

freezing I just went with the most positive, like izz*. I tend to get a fade-in effect from 3 days before, or so, so I know it's getting there. This month I got my first real positive, but other months I've used the most positive. I only use one a day because I am a skinflint, at around 1130 am. I did a couple months of temping, because I have cycles on the long side, and now just dip in and out of temping. I found the first month of temping was hard, but then you stop forgetting.

jolls I hope you're ok out there, been thinking of you.

Just ordered some vit d3 yesterday. Feel quite good at the minute, think the proper training is helping. And I look a teensy bit svelter.

Waves to all.

brokenbarrenbrook · 20/04/2011 09:54

Morning, t'is a case of deja vu here. Symptoms started fading yesterday, are almost non existent today and I've started light bleeding. It's the same as almost every other time so I think I know it's the end of this one too. Cock and arse. What the fuck am I doing wrong? 5 miscarriages? Why? Clearly I have pissed someone off royally Grin FFS.

Time to get the credit card out and get myself another appointment with Mr Shehata.

Sorry for the rant and no personals. Arsecrackers.

BBB have left you a message on ArseBook. Am totally gutted for you. Take it you mean not just a bit of spotting? You know your body I know :(

randomimposter · 20/04/2011 10:08

batteryhen · 20/04/2011 10:11

BBB Am also gutted for you, I want to keep hoping for you but as jolls said - you know your own body x hugs to you lovely xxx

YouRemindMeOfTheBabe · 20/04/2011 11:01

Oh BBBSad Oh no. I am praying it's just getting comfy. xx

Ladybee · 20/04/2011 12:02

crap BBB - really hope it's not what you think. Did you have an NHS referral to Shehata in the pipeline or was that someone else (sorry, brain not working, too many things to think about right now). I really hope you get some answers.

BB A necessary rant, and I agree with every word ((hugs))

MummyAbroad · 20/04/2011 13:34

BBB Shock oh no! That is so unfair! You are entitled to rant all you want. I really hope its not what you think. I actually came on to say how sorry I am that nobody replied to your request for private doc info on the other thread. I am really disappointed in them and trying to restrain myself from writing an arsey message - but I guess its a very busy thread and your request just got lost.
I think Sheahata is a good plan. Would you be able to get an emergency appointment with your GP too? Maybe she can do a progesterone blood test and see if there really is a dip?

YouRemindMeOfTheBabe · 20/04/2011 13:48

Rant away my lovely. It's sickening at times, how this happens to people who would be lovely parents x

brokenbarrenbrook · 20/04/2011 14:03

mummya bless you, pink did answer and said I could pm her if I needed anything else. It's way too hectic over there for me anyway Smile

MummyAbroad · 20/04/2011 14:03

BBB sorry if you have said before, cant remember, but whereabouts in the country are you?

Freezingmyarseoff · 20/04/2011 14:27

Oh BBB how totally awful for you to be going through this again. I so hope it's what Babe said. I can't stop thinking of you.

Just rant away if that helps, we're all here for you x

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 20/04/2011 15:26

Oh bb Sad Sad I am so sorry and I am hoping and praying that you are wrong - I always have light bleeding at this point even in healthy pgs and am crossing everything that yours is the same...but I know you know your own body Sad

I don't know if you'll feel like it now but it maybe worth trying to get some progesterone today to give it a try? I honestly don't know about getting prog privately, have never done it, but if I had to start I would probably try our local Spire (formerly Bupa) hospital. That's where I go for private pg scans and where I would have gone for fertility testing if we had got that far. Or obviously it's prescribed for ivf patients so maybe worth ringing your local ivf/fertility clinic? Whereabouts are you?

I am keeping everything crossed for you xx

digitalgirl · 20/04/2011 17:15

bbb Sad it's so unfair. So bloody unfair.

I promise you that Mr S is worth every penny. Even if you aren't diagnosed with high nk cells (which given your history I think you probably will have high nk cells), he will prescribe you steroids and progesterone anyway. He's very pro-active. I also found booking the appt helped me deal with mc#4 a lot better than I dealt with mc#3.

Feel free to pm me if you have any questions. Am on train ATM, so may reply later. X
