Please can I have some advice (strange period)

Hi,

My husband and I have been TTC for a couple of months. I came off the pill just after Christmas. I had a normal period in Jan and Feb.

I was due on Tuesday, didn't start and had some spotting on Wed. Yesterday, I had a bit more blood and today a little brown discharge and then nothing. I use a mooncup and have done for many years. There should be no problems there. Sorry if TMI

I have done several pregnancy tests and they are negative (I did one on Tuesday night. I have had some signs of pregnancy but not on the tests I have done! (I've felt icky, headachy, bloated, tired etc).

I suppose I should just go and see a doctor......

Any advice?

I'd say leave it a couple of days and test again.

I got a bfp this morning, but when I tested on Monday a bfn! So a few days can make a big difference. I think the HCG hormone doubles every 48 hours at this stage.

it was prob just a touch early. use ur first wee in the morning too as the levels will be more ocncentrated. id say do another test tomorrrow morning, then post the result here ;)

Yeah, maybe too early - who knows? I will do as you say and test in the am. Not done any tests in the am.

I have period type pains too, it's settling in/stretching pains if you get a bfp .
