Am I imagining feeling implantation?

Hi, just want to get some feedback to see if I'm over analysing!

We've been ttc since Jan, no joy so far but I know it's early days so am not stressing yet. It's 9 days till my period is due I think, not sure exactly when I ovulate to be honest. I'm getting conflicting answers from various different ovulation calculators and haven't started the temp monitoring or LH measuring yet.

Yesterday I felt quite a sharp but achy pain low down in my abdomen, lower than I get period pains usually. It lasted about two hours or so. Later I noticed a small amount of blood, and that made me think that's what it was. I am still telling myself it could be anything, don't want to be too disappointed when I get my period!

Any thoughts on whether it is or isn't, or others' experiences of this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I can feel implantation. Not in a woo hippy way but in a physical way. I can also feel ovulation though and location wise it's similar, though feels very different. But I don't get period pains.

I think it is possible to feel it and I've been pregnant a couple of times and it's an unmistakeable feeling.

Ok, thanks. It turned out to only be a little bleeding once, and a slight crampy feeling for a couple of days. Think it was wishful thinking more than anything!

This is only the third month, and although we decided not to get too obsessive about it, it's hard not to think of it all the time in the 2ww!

nightowl i had some 'feelings' in my groin/abdomen area between about 5 and 10 dpo. wouldn't call them cramps or pains, just a dull kind of ache. Then at about 11dpo started with a diiferent type of pain, more like a stitch, slightly higher. Got a faint bfp yesterday and today. AF due sunday, so still don't feel i'm 'out of the woods' but i am sure the mild pains i left earlier last week was implantation.

Thanks collie, the first pain sounds like what I had. Will keep an eye and see how it goes!

Fx for you nightowl let me know how it pans out.

ShowOfHands · 20/03/2011 14:08

Good luck.

That sounds exactly the same as me collie, a dull ache and then a stitch type pain higher up. The stitch pain has always happened at 10dpo.

Still waiting, not due on yet so we'll see. To be honest I'm not feeling particularly optimistic, but you never know I guess!

collie sorry, should have wished you luck too!

Hi nightowl i'm ok. BFPs getting stringer but lots of cramps that are freaking me out. fx for you still then!!

Showof did your pains turn into a bfp?

nightowlmostly · 25/03/2011 21:34

Turns out I was imagining it, af came today. Feeling pretty down about it as it's accompanied by bad cramps and I'm at work which sucks. Thanks for all feedback anyway, maybe next month!
