when to have sex when TTC

Do you have sex just after the egg white mucus has gone once ovulated, (within 24hrs as this is how long egg survives). Or during egg white mucus, before ovulation. I am a bit confused.

egg white mucus is produced on the run up to ovulation as it assists the sperm to the uterus, pelvis area, the egg last 12-24 hours, i highly recommend the book taking charge of your fertility, it helps you to recognise all the ovulation signs. Good luck with the rest of your journey, this month with be 6 months for me of ttc.
