Indecisive!

Hi, me and my husband have a 10 month old and we were planning on trying for our second in the next few months except that now I'm not sure I'm ready yet, I'm frightened of something going wrong during pregnancy/labour. I'm actually scared of getting pregnant but I know I really want another baby soon. Has anyone else been in this situation? Do you ever know when the right time is?

No I don't think so! I'm not scared of the physical aspects of pregnancy, but petrified of birth and the impact it'll make on life - forever! Even though I'm impatient to get going and do feel like I want to, I constantly get cold feet and get tangled up in knots trying to think of 'the best time'......so I don't think there is one and we're just going to go for it in May regardless!

I'm watching this with interest as I feel the same way! I always wanted 2 or 3 close together but now DD is here I'm nervous about being pregnant again even though I had a pretty straight forward pregnancy and birth.
