Hello there,
I am doing a short filmmaking course so that I can record this weird experience that we all have at some point in our lives: the pregnancy test.
I'm always having to take them because, after two short pregnancies which didn't take, I have become hyper sensitive to the 'symptoms', which seem to be nothing more than some trapped wind and a badly fitting bra.
We each take pregnancy tests for different reasons, some of us in panic, some of us in hope, and yet we are all together huddled over toilet bowls at home, in the doctors surgery or in the local shopping centre. In these small, cramped places our lives could suddenly change at any time in those three little minutes.
In my film I will be talking about what I think about - what passes through my mind - when I think I might be pregnant, but I would really love to hear your stories too. Especially if you are about to take a test, as you will be right in the middle of those particular thoughts! If you are particularly brave, perhaps you'd like to contribute to my little film course piece - if you think it might benefit you like I hope it will me!
Look forward to hearing from you!
