TTC following an ectopic - need some happy stories!

Hi

I have had a bit of a rough week. After only 2 months TTC my husband and I were over the moon to find out I was pregnant. However, on Monday this week it was diagnosed as ectopic and I had to have an operation to remove the tube the same day.

It has been a really hard week and I am really hoping to hear some happy stories from others who have managed to conceive following an ectopic to brighten my current gloom.

Should put you in touch with my very good friend. Had an ectopic preg with complications at 2months last January. Had a part of the tube taken away. Was convinced she does not want to go through with this as she also has polyps in her ovaries. Drs told her to take it slow, and gave the usual disclaimers of how her statistics of conceiving were post op. She was also told to wait for 6 months to get her system back blah blah blah.
4 months later hey Presto! pregnant. Perfect pregnancy - no sickness, no complications, perfect labour of 2 hours and a lovely 3.5kg baby girl who is healthy and now moving towards being a podgy 2 month old Smile
Be happy and be positive - its the best thing for mental and physical well being.

I already had 3 children when I had a ruptured ectopic. I was devastated and it really knocked me for 6. But I'm happy to say I have gone on to have 3 more lovely babies :)

Hang on in there.... at the moment I know you'll be feeling like hell but all is not lost!
