Bit of a weird one..........

I always have sore boobs about a week before AF is due...like REALLY sore to the point if I turn over in bed at night they wake me up ! Well AF is due tomorrow and I have had my sore boobs all this week but today they have disappeared !As in the pain not the boobs. They are still a bit sensitive on the nipple area and on the sides but not nearly as painful as before and they normally only start to hurt less when my period has started. Does anyone know why this happens ? My cervix is soft and high and I feel a bit queasy but I don't know if this phsycological (sp!) and does it mean it is a bad sign regarding my boobs i.e. hormones are dropping etc. Haven't tested yet as I don't want to waste money until I am at least a week late .

Am I on my own with this symptom !?

I use to get sore boobs a week before AF but since TTC they swell and get very sore from ovulation until one day after AF - really bizarre! Sometimes they wake me up. I have been told is progesterone and it's a good thing but as I have turned into a crazy through this TTC malarky, I have researched and found it could also be a lack of progesterone. So who knows! Just before I had an m/c boobs deflated and became painless in a few hours so all tied up to progesterone I guess.

Thanks Joycep.....well AF due today but no sign yet, normally wake up too it. Took a test yesterday and came up a BFN.....no cramps though....weird Normally have a very reg 32 day cycle this is the second cycle since having my copper coil removed...last period was 4 days and lighter were as with the coile thay were 7 days and extremly heavy......wondering if the coil has messed me up abit......

I sometimes - only sometimes - have agonising boobs for sometimes up to 2 weeks before my period. Once I started actually really taking notice of such things I realised that when they stop hurting is usually 24 hours before my period arrives, and this is apparently when progesterone falls. So I think that if you were pregnant, then the boobs wouldn't stop hurting. I may be wrong though.

Good luck. It will be interesting to know what happens. I am on the 2WW and the boobs aren't painful at all. Not sure what to make of that!

Hi Aries (my son is an Aries, bit of a dreamer !)Well today my boobs have started to hurt again but more around the nipple area, when I take my bra off the weight of them makes them sore and if I stretch my arms up they hurt too...will keep updates till when and if my period comes !
