I am a week late and did a test this morning which was negative but I am now feeling very nauseous. What are the chances that the negative result is wrong?

It is unlikely, although the exact chances depend on which test you use. Might as well do another one to make sure, I suppose.

With my son I didn't get a positive until 6 weeks.
