How early is Early Response?

Hi ladies,

I'm going absolutely slightly crazy here so please help!
My period is due tomorrow and usually I have 3 days spotting before. This time - absolutely nothing (and as I'm using OPKs I know I didn't ovulate late). But I kep getting BFNs.
Have any of you ever got a BFN with Early Response about 1-2 days before (or even on the day) your period was due and still found out you were pregnant?

HPT's are actually much less accurate than the manufacturers would have you think. when they say 5 days early, what they actually mena is 5 days before the day after your period is due, and even then the only a small percentage of women get an accurate result. leave it 2 days and try again.

I think it depends how long your LP phase is and when implantation occurs. When I missed my period at 12dpo, I used the Early response and it came up negative. It didn't come up positive for another 4 days. But everyone is different, some people can get positive at 7 or 8 DPO, others like me are longer. Depends how quickly you release hcg i guess. Hang on in there...good luck!

I got tested at the hospital at 5 weeks and they didn't pick it up even then! Got retested the week later and was positive.

Thanks so much - it actually sounds hopeful. I won't give up hope just yet :-)
