Implantation bleed or period? Advice please

Hi everyone, I really could do with some advice

Really confused tonight, this morning started to dtd then had small amount of blood, really small amount and quite dark, wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't paranoid about AF. No more bleeding until about 5pm where there were four tiny spots on the pad. Since then maybe one or two more spots but nothing else. This is v unusual for me, usually AF starts first thing in the morning, no spotting beforehand and gets heavy quite very quickly!

Had some cramping on Thursday evening and I was due AF yesterday. Had very sore boobs for last week which eased off slightly last night and not too bad today.

So... AF or implantation bleed? Seems too late for implantation bleed (i've heard anywhere between 6 and 12 days dpo?) unless I ovulated a bit later than I thought (only going by days and only cycle 2 of TTC so not impossible) but I really don't know.

Any opinions would be really great, thanks x

Have you tested?

I had an implantation bleed with my last pregnancy - a light AF for 24 hours. It was so short, I was confused so tested the day after and a BFP. I had tested before and nothing. It happened on the day AF was due. You could have ovulated later so get POAS!

I'm going to go POAS now, quite nervous! I had tested before and given up for this month as had bfns. Will update soon!

Oh no - well if AF doesn't turn up in a couple of days then test again. Sounds a bit odd though. Although when ttc I know I monitor things more closely so might notice things I didn't before. It's hard and frustrating!

Thanks for your advice though, it's helped keep me sane!
