pg after mmc

Guys, I am so lucky and have just found
out i'm pg after a mmc over Christmas. I'm 40 too so feel blessed in so many ways. My little bean who didn't make it stopped growing at abut 7 weeks, so I'm really keen to have an early scan this time. Any advice about when is a good time to see a heartbeat (fingers crossed)and I'm guessing will have to pay to go private as I have only (!) had one mc. Thanks guys - you have all been so supportive over the months - say a prayer for me and the new bean!

Congrats Katherine! :) fx for you having a different experience this time. There's a good freak out room here with lots of lovely ladies if you need support. I've heard some private scan clinics won't scan until after 7 weeks as before is often inconclusive, which I think is a good indicator

thanks for the advice - i thought i'd try and hang on til 8 weeks if we can get to that stage. will lurk on the diffed up thread too - with thanks again
