Morning ladies,

Is anyone using the above tests? Have they worked for anyone?

I have just started using them and got a blank face Sat/Sun morn but Mon evening got a smiley face. Do you know how long this smiley face lasts for and if there's any chance had I tested Sun eve it too would have been smiley face thus meaning my most fertile has gone? According to my dates I would ovulate today but if Mon eve was smiley does that mean I ovulated yesterday?

Am I making any sense at all or just confusing everyone?!!!
TIA

I always use them they are fab!!!!

They show the smiley face when detecting the LH surge which is approx 24-36 hours before ovulation.I think normally Lh surge can come and go within a short period of time [sometimes it can be detected in the morning but not the evening of the same day].It may have been a smiley face on Sunday evening but as you ve no way of knowing now don t worry about it!!!!

As you got your smiley face Monday evening i would assume you would ovulate approx 24-36 hours after that [tues evening/wed am]roughly!!!!That is in line with what you thought also?????

Are you observing for ewcm also????

I love these , i have used the cheaper tests with lines only but driven myself mad comparing lines!!!!!

Hope this helps X

Thanks for your reply

We did the deed (not got the hang of these acronyms yet!) Sun morn and Tues eve (last night and sorry if TMI!) Hubby works v long hours and its rare we go to bed/get up at same time. Won't see him tonight but wondering if its worth trying tomorrow too or if just passed OV.
Most people would say just do it anyway, but as we are like passing ships, it's hard to pin each other down ( oo er!) So if no chance of concieving tomorrow then won't force the issue ( not that I force him but you know what I mean! Ha!)
X

I echo Louisesh. They are so much better than those other ones where you compare lines. I think you can ovulate 12-36 hours after seeing Smile. Once egg has been released, the egg only lives for 6-24hours at the very most. So I think it is unlikely you will still be fertile tomorrow morning now. Has your EWCM dried up? That's often an indicator it has been and gone.
It sounds like you got in there at good times anyway. Good luck! x

did not work for me at all. i got pregnant without using any tests (i tried 5 different brands for 3 different countries -- waste of money and unnecessary stress). my consultant told me these don't work for everyone.

If you follow the egg meets sperm plan it says to swi on the day you get a + opk then 2 nights after.1 day off then 1 more swi Grin

Good luck X

I'm now on 2WW - Ovulation seems like its occured as late yesterday and def this morning no CM - very dry when I wipe (sorry if tmi)

Thanks Louise for your help - I'm sure I shall be back to tell you how I got on (only first cycle so highly doubt it'll be positive news!)
