Faint line - please let me pregnant!!

I have done 4 tests in the last 2 days. The 2 in the morning have a very faint line, the 2 in the evening have no lone. All clear blue tests. Period is due Thursday. Does everyone think this is a good sign?!

Do you have any idea how far gone you are likely to be?

Would be 2 weeks since conception, 4 weeks since 1st day of last period.

That's pretty early on so the line possibly would be quite faint.

This is from their website:

"Do you need to wait several days after you have missed a period before you can do a Clearblue Pregnancy Test?

No. All Clearblue Pregnancy Tests are sensitive enough to detect hCG in your urine from the day your period is due. You can use Clearblue Pregnancy Tests up to 4 days before your period is due, although the pregnancy hormone levels in your urine may not be high enough to be detected. So if you test early and you get a ?Not Pregnant? test result, we recommend you test again when your period is due"

Looking good for a positive result :)

I've waited till 2 days before, so I'm really hopefull! Read a few things on the internet and there are a lot of comments from people saying a very faint line is a positive. Will have to wait and see but I'm desperate to know!!

i had a faint line on a test some years ago. i was very confused by it and took test to the doctors with a morning sample. they tested again in doctors and another faint line appeared. they also sent sample off and it was confirmed that i was pg. doctor told me that a line is a positive no matter how faint.

i got faint lines with my first pregnancy - if it gets stronger then congrats! It the HCG hormone doubles each day in the first few weeks so you should see the line get darker each day.

My 'faint line' is now 15mo and upstairs sleeping soundly in his cot...

I did three tests initially - the first one was pretty faint, and two more the next morning (from another pack) were even fainter so I didn't hold out much hope as I thought they should be getting stronger. However, four days and no period later I tried again and got a BFP

Yes definately sounds like ur pregnant, congrats your getting a line in the am cause that's the most concentrated urine good luck :)

Are you me??? I've done several six tests in the past three days. Got the feintest of feint lines. I was due on yesterday, i think. Am using £ shop cheapies. Am wondering should i invest waste some money on a 'proper' test??

First response are buy one get one free at boots and superdrug if that helps make the decision a line is a line though so maybe wait a few days and use another of your cheap ones

I tested on the Monday and was due on the Friday. It was a really faint line. Tested the next day, no line. Left it until Friday and had a strong line.

I took advantage of the boots offer!!! I feel silly testing all the time, but have waited so long for this!!! I've ament a fair bit on tests! Fingers crossed for both of us!

Yes,my faint lines are snoring away on the monitor.My first line was so faint it looked more like where the line would appear,if a line was there iyswim.I called the helpline,she said any line at all is a +, and to test the next day first thing.Line got darker day by day.Pretty sure you is preggers missus..

Ooooh figaro and deemented how exciting! I'm in the same situation too and have done loads of reading on websites. My lines over last 2 days have also been super feint but do appear in first 5 minutes so are not evaporation. AF due tomorrow. Do hop over to the November baby thread on antenatal when you feel more sure!
