tomorrow at the latest going by stats!

longest LP has been 13 days and today is 12DPO.

How impatient do i feel :)

mrsden · 26/04/2011 09:16

ohhhhhh jaggy exciting!!! I'll keep everything crossed for you. Will you test tomorrow? Or will you hold out even longer?

jaggythistle · 26/04/2011 09:23

I am trying not to be too excited because it is always crap - I always feel more disappointed proportional to my excitement level. Grin Hard not to get carried away though...

I am going to try really hard to wait till Thursday - I hate looking at BFNs!

I can see me caving tomorrow though if no AF by tonight and still feeling funny.

bossyboop · 26/04/2011 10:17

FX Jaggy!

Today temp is up a bit so expected to see crosshairs in the next couple of days but no, FF has put the dotted crosshairs back at CD8 making me 15dpo, so dashed off with my 3 drops off mid morning wee and of course bfn. Before I was temping I was totally unaware of all this, just got af when af showed up I think maybe ignorance is bliss!

Hope you all had a lovely easter weekend [busmile]

jaggythistle · 26/04/2011 12:40

FF is in the huff because i havent put a temp in since 4DPO - it's made my crosshairs dotted due to 'missing data'. Didn't know it would do that!

Might take my temp tomorrow and just not look till thursday. Grin

How mental am I getting now...

I am going to be knicker checking like mad from now on Blush

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 26/04/2011 16:05

ooooh Jaggy fingers crossed for you!

First day back at work, the first normal sleep pattern/no booze/wake up time for nearly a week and I forget to put my damn BBT on my bedside table! Angry I think I'm at 6DPO

jaggythistle · 26/04/2011 17:33

i am worrying now that I've come along being excited at you all again and I'm going to look daft again by the end of the week :(

Shut up brain!

jaggythistle · 27/04/2011 05:52

morning all.

been awake since about half bloody 4! had dodgy tummy so had to nip to toilet. no af yet.

didn't test but did take my temp and shove the thermometer in the drawer without looking. don't want to go to work all depressed.

have a nice day everyone!

AmandaCooper · 27/04/2011 07:49

I take it it's one of those that stores your temp then?! FX for you!

Looks like I OV on CD32 in the end - it has restored my faith in charting. You just start thinking "if that temp had been just a teeny bit lower... and if that temp had been just a teeny bit higher..." don't you! Also if I wasn't charting I'd go through about twenty pg tests between now and next week.

jaggythistle · 27/04/2011 08:29

yeah, stores the temp. might look when I get in from work cos at least I could have a Wine then :)

Am paranoid at every twinge that might be AF cramps now.

:(

Glad your ov was detected at last!

jaggythistle · 27/04/2011 09:42

Spotting now, I guess it was cramps.phoned DH to make him look at my temp!

Feel so angry with myself for getting my hopes up again. :(

I hate feeling stupid.

sorry to be all depressing now.

jaggythistle · 27/04/2011 09:47

Think I'll just take my temps next month, it'll actually be better to know the temp is dropping rather than keep hoping for an extra day then get in a big huff like I am now!

AuntieDoris · 27/04/2011 10:22

I think that this month my cycle has completely lost the plot.

First of all it thought I ovulated on day 8... then day 10 and I have had no positive OPKs since then, although I didn't start testing until day 11.

Admittedly we are on holiday at the moment and have been doing lots of drinking and getting up at weird times but it is all a bit odd.

It's kind of hard too as I am back at home and seeing my sister and her new baby. It's lovely and heartbreaking and pretty tough to manage and I had a long cry last night. Why does she get to have 2 babies easily and I don't get any? I think I am sulking.

AmandaCooper · 27/04/2011 18:25

Sorry to hear that Jaggy.

weimy · 27/04/2011 19:22

sorry jaggy, big huge hugs auntied xx

bossyboop · 27/04/2011 20:09

I get my hopes up too jaggy, ripping open another cheapie test because it will be positive and I wont need them next month, as if.

I think FF might move my crosshairs tomorrow to CD22 if my temp stays up, unless of course af shows up. There are so many variables for my chart its too complex and boring to explain but in short af could arrive anytime or I could start prolongued spotting in a few days time - it's a lucky dip each morning. here it is anyway

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 27/04/2011 20:35

Sorry Jaggy :(

Just heard that one of my best friends has given birth :) but also very Envy and slightly :(
In HALF the time me & DH have tried to get up duffed, she's moved abroad, got married and had a baby!

I need some of your expert advice, please have a look at my chart: www.fertilityfriend.com/home/IfAtFirstUDontSucceed FF changes it's mind over whether I ov'd on CD12 or CD15 depending on if I hide the temp taken on CD14. The chart at the moment shows the temp on CD14, so says I ov'd on 15. BUT if I hide CD14 it puts ov at CD12
The reason that I may want to hide CD14 is becasue DH & I were out the night before and had several to drink, although I still took my temp at the regular time.

I got some "slippy" stuff on CD11,but never got any EWCM (usual for me) but recorded it as EWCM anyway. I remember getting sharp twinges on CD13, and small twinges for the next couple of days, so I guessed that ov happened on CD13. PHEW!!!! I hope you followed all of that. Grin

Newgolddream · 27/04/2011 20:48

Well I took the bull by the horns and visited the GP today, just to ask some questions about my short cycles and short luteal phase, with trepidation I may add since Ive heard some not so good things about GPs and charting. But he was great!

Didnt seem to think it was a problem having a LP of only 11 days and said even though Im charting its not an exact science so it may actually be 12. Spoke to me for ages (even telling me it took him and his wife 3 years to conceive their wee baby who is just born!), drew me a chart about progesterone and explained about day 21 bloods that could be done, but earlier with me because of my short cycles. Has put a note in my notes saying hes happy for me to get a blood test if I want - he doesnt think its neccesary but if it would reassure me I could have it. So all in all not too bad.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 27/04/2011 22:07

Good for you Newgold :) Sometimes you have to be very assertive with GPs. I just got fobbed off with their NICE guidelines (although, at the time I didnt realise, until I searched them out for myself online and he might as well have been reading directly from the document itself!) Angry

Newgolddream · 28/04/2011 08:28

Thanks ifatfirst, still not sure if Im totally convinced there is not an issue but it has put my mind at ease for a bit. How did you get on, was it a short LP or something else?

Not sure about your chart - does alcohol generally affect your temps? (with me for some reason it doesnt, Ive had plenty of experience here Grin) But yes if you take CD14s temp out I would say you ov on CD13.

jaggy - hows things?

bossyboop - had a look at your chart to, is it normal for you to ov early like CD8, it happened to me once and I thought FF would move my lines but it didnt.

amanda - I read that to a short LP can prevernt a wee bean sticking and I got a bit concerned, but I think 10/11 days is ok, its just some sites seem to say it isnt, confusing eh! But I reassure myslef that as Ive had a BFP at 9 DPO before it was obviously long enough that time Smile

jaggythistle · 28/04/2011 13:18

CD2 now and have got over my grumps a bit.

Will be serenely calm next time and not overexcited, honest :)

Glad your GP was nice!

mrsden · 28/04/2011 13:22

sorry AF got you jaggy, glad you are feeling a bit better. I think the worst days are the couple leading up to AF and CD1, it doesn't help that this is the time in the month when I would feel tearful anyway.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 28/04/2011 20:03

Newgold We took ourselves to the docs just because we had 3 years TTC with no luck. Had 21day bloods done, and DH had his sample tested and then found I was PG!!!!!! However, lost that pg a week later :( Took myself back to the docs after a further 6 months and that's when we wre told that they couldnt help until there was no joy after a year!

Got pg again in October last year, but found it was an empty sac at 11 weeks. We're now in limbo as its only 4 months since the MC and can't do any investgations unti after 3 MCs :(

On a lighter note, FF has made up it's mind that I def ov'd on CD15, regardless of whether that freaky alcohol-induced temp is showing :) www.fertilityfriend.com/home/IfAtFirstUDontSucceed

bossyboop · 29/04/2011 08:55

Newgold - no CD8 is very early, I still think CD19 was ov day, I remember the ewcm I had on CD20 wasn't as stretchy, it broke easily which made me think that ovulation had been and gone. I removed that data from my chart and it's moved the dotted crosshairs to CD19 making me 7dpo, it is at least following last months pattern. Happier with my chart now as those CD8 crosshairs were ridiculous!

weimy · 29/04/2011 21:38

Hi all!

I'm out of the dumps :)

Cd10 so am just gearing up for swi. Have stopped temping and haven't taken preg sup for a few days and no longer feel queasy, as I normally do Confused. Have also joined a gym and have been to zumba and pilates.

hope you are all ok!
