i had mega EWCM too, had visitors at nap time today though, so will have to wait till DS is in bed!

we have managed nap time SWI the last 2 days though!

was considering a day off till EWCM appeared...

I've had three temp rises in a row after a dip so where are my bloody crosshairs!!!!

been to the vets today, eldest had a tick, I'm sorry but am I the only person in the world not to know that ticks had legs?

ok so I have just lowered my temp on the day I think I ovd because I got out of bed before taking my temp. Is this cheating? Also if I have not ovd would i get a temp rise like I have?? Do I have to do more swi???:(

The lack of ewcm might have confused ff, dont know though, just a thought. I think you probably have ovulated and got the swi covered. Took me ages last month to get cross hairs and even then didnt get them when I thought I would have done but that was a messed up cycle.

Hoping this one is better as need the hsg, had to rearrange appointment with gyn for june so day 21 test and hsg should be done by then seems like ages away but then again I feel like I have a bit of breathing space.

DD is better now and FIL is still poorly, never rains and all that, but never mind there's still creme eggs

I've definitely confused FF today - I've had loads of untimely EWCM, despite (probably) being 6 DPO! It's a bit strange - I usually dry right up post-ov. I'm more and more convinced that I didn't lay an egg this cycle, despite what FF says, based on dubious post-ov temps and lack of drying up.

On the plus side, I have started taking my temps vaginally and the last 2 days have been very consistent. Yay! Somewhat amusingly though, my thermometer - which has always beeped upon reaching the temp reading - hasn't beeped once since I stopped taking temps orally. It's like it's protesting about being shoved up my fadge each morning . Can't say I blame it really - oh the indignity of it!

Weimy, I think getting out of bed before taking temp is cheating - not sure why exactly but everything I've read has said that it has to be your resting temperature. I guess that if you've got up you're not resting anymore are you. Oh all this science does my head in!

I never know if my temp goes up because I've got out of bed because despite walking about I've left the comfort of my 15 tog duvet ( I know I know it's april!!) though some mornings under my 15 togs in my fleece pjs I feel like I am going to spontaneously combust only to get a low temp. Is 15 togs and fleece pjs classed as cheating

CD7 and AF only just tailing off but DH won't know what's hit him next week! I'm fed up with not being pg so this month just has to get me that BFP!

IfAt - I can't bear grapefruit but am trying to eat a bit of pineapple each day as I think that's meant to help with CM???

weimy - yes, wait for the beep!!!
Have you ever tried removing ticks yourself? Smothering them with vaseline seems to suffocate them and then they come off quite easily! Can take a bit of time for the vaseline to take effect though...

Imps - had a quick look at your chart but sorry, I'm confused as well

imps as loud as it sounds when it's next to your ear, if it's under your duvet you won't hear the bleep unless you stick your head under it too! Trust me, I talk from experience. All two months of it.

bossy shame about you having to change your appointment. But like you said, if you can treat it as a break, that will be good. Bit less worrying about appts and results. Glad that DD is better too and that you managed some SWI!

Hotcross - I think the theory is grapefruit juice before ovulation is meant to help with EWCM and pineapple juice after ovulation to help with implantation.

hotcross I waited till the beep today temp the same as yesterday but def did not get 3hrs continuous sleep, devil pup up and down all night with the runs and freya was sick too :( Next month I will totally have it sorted!

Couldn't put vaseline on the tick it would freak me out Mad, I can take dead animals off them, clean up their sick even pull random objects out of their bums but things with legs no way!!!

Jaggy I totally have swi fatigue too!!!!!!

I discarded some of my temps when I wasn't well to try and make my chart look more sensible, I am on CD10 but that's based on the heavy bleeding being CD1 but really due to a bit of red spotting I could be on CD14 so could be over before I know it with af popping in before I've had a chance to POlotsofS creme egg still sat there waiting for me, how lovely far better than my own eggs obviously!

Ifatfirst - sorry AF showed and you feel so emotionally exhausting, I think we all can identify with that.

jaggy - what CD are you on?

imps - I get EWCM after ov to, plus watery, I hope it doesnt mean Im not ovualting as I think I am based on my temps.

weimy - I take it theres been a lot of swi then lol.

I know the temps show a clear rise indicating ovulation but post ov temps arent that high imo - do you think this matters? I guess what I mean is do post ov temps indicate whether you have been successful or not or wont I be able to tell until either they drop indicating AF is coming or I get a BFP (hoping for that option obviously!)

newgolddreaam I don't think it means anything it's just the increase to show you've ov'd, I've noticed mine go down before af, but I don't think the fact mine is a straight up line this month means anything at all, I've seen other peoples who are up and down and are pregnant x
