Molly - I'm sorry :(
I really thought you might have cracked it first month from your chart. I hate it how our bodies give us false hope.

NewGold - I'm sorry you're feeling so down. It took me 2yrs 3mo from my last dep contraceptive injection to becoming pg with DS. I know it probably took 6-12 months for my fertility to return but I had loads of times when I just tried to persuade myself it wasn't going to happen. It did in the end and I'm sure it will for you too.

I woke at 5am this morning. Took my temp and it was 36.67. I usually temp at 6.10am and lots of websites suggest the reality is that my temperature would probably be higher if I'd not woken til 6.10am. All I've done is lie in bed MNing on my phone - I've not sat up at all. Temp now (6.05am) is 36.74 and online corrector said it would be 36.79. What would you Rd for your chart?
I'm 10dpo and at the stage where my hopes have been raised by some good temps but realise I'll probably be joining Jaggy and Molly in the next few days... Sorry on phone so not sure I can link my chart but I did link it a few days ago.

AuntieDoris · 31/03/2011 06:22

I have been TTC since Sept last year. I know in the grand scheme of things it isn't very long.... but it bloody well feels like it!!!

mrsden · 31/03/2011 08:06

So sorry about AF Jaggy and Molly.

And sorry you are feeling down newgold. I know exactly how you feel, I am the same. I was actually dreading SWI this month. FF thinks I've ovulated but I'm not totally convinced yet so feel like I should keep going but I really have no energy for it. I never thought I'd say this but I'd be glad if I never had to do it again. I think it must be normal to feel like this after trying for so many months.

Auntiedoris good news about your results. What did they test for? I know it doesn't give you an answer but good that something wasn't obviously wrong. Hopefully it is just a matter of time now.

So, FF thinks I ovulated on CD11 but I've had EWCM past then (although I might be mixing it up with SWI stuff iykwim). My temps look a bit low to me and a bit up and down and CD11 just seems to early. I wish all this was more simple. www.fertilityfriend.com/home/mrsden

essence not sure which of those temps I'd record, not sure it matters though they are all good. Looks promising!

How is everyone else? Anybody close to testing?

HarderToKidnap · 31/03/2011 09:18

Newgold, sorry you feel so down. I totally, totally understand where you are coming from. However, today I got a drumroll vfp!!! 11dpo by my reckoning and didn't have any of the usuall gunky brown, plus am about to go away for a very boozy weekend and wanted to know if I could get as trolleyed as normal! This is after seven months of non-stop shaggage. Just goes to show, there is no reason why this month it shouldn't happen, or the month after that, or the month after. I think we both also have very light periods, which at one point I think we were both worried about.

It is very hard to believe - after what feels like so long trying (which now feels like the blink of an eye in retrospect) that suddenly I am pregnant. Feel no different, not a single symptom. Fully aware/expecting it is early days and my period could come as usual and I could be charting again next month. I am due ERTD tomorrow.

HarderToKidnap · 31/03/2011 09:19

Oh and this is my chart linky
It's all totally fictional, I think. I have always had such pretty charts before!

mrsden · 31/03/2011 09:47

wow, congratulations harder that is fantastic Grin Grin Grin

I'm keeping everything crossed for you that you have a very uneventful pregnancy. Do you think FF had the wrong ovulation day for you?

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 31/03/2011 10:50

Oh congrats Harder I have been chart stalking a bit!!

Sorry for those who are back on cd1 etc. I've been there and it can be so upsetting. Stick with it, sometimes things happen when you least expect them. Fingers crossed for all on 2ww.

Well, I'm 7weeks and have my scan in 3 weeks. Managed to just about stop temping, though an still POAS cos I have loads of internet cheapies left :)
Still don't feel v pg - mild nausea comes and goes, dry mouth and sore nipples but that's about it. Mild cramping occasionally but I am assured that's just my uterus expanding.

Just to say, those of you symptom spotting, this cycle that I got bfp I had fewer symptoms than any of the past 6 m so don't write things off if you are waiting.

And, my sex drive has gone through the roof Blush Wish it was this high when we were ttc.

weimy · 31/03/2011 14:45

Congrats harder !!!!!!

newgold I'm so sorry you feel so low (weimy squeezes newgold very tightly)

Hey mrsA glad things are going well xx

off to a conference, see you all sat or sun xx

bossyboop · 31/03/2011 21:00

congrats harder!

I have had a miserable day and a good cry. AF arrived so had to book hsg but they didnt think they were going to be able to do it this cycle as the person who does it has just retired. Luckily there is someone who can do it but as cycle day 10 is on a weekend I am having it CD12. That means no swi as there has to be no possibility of pregnancy when it is done. So if I ovulate before cd12 then theres no chance for us this month so FX for no temp rise till after then - hopefully the stress of the impending cervix pinching will delay ov!

However the wine was great!

Karbea · 31/03/2011 21:24

Do charts only overlay if you are a VIP on ff? My first 2 months have overlaid but the next two haven't, anyone any ideas?

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 31/03/2011 21:35

congrats harder Grin

Sorry you've had such an awful day bossy

Well, Im now on CD19 and ever since ov I have been getting mild twinges Confused, also had a lot more watery CM than usual too! www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2de1f3

essenceofSES · 31/03/2011 21:58

karbea - yes, I think you have to have VIP membership

harder - congrats!!!! Grin Grin Grin

IfAt - looks like well-timed SWI so FX!

bossy - blatant hugs heading your way. Hope the timing works ok next cycle.

weimy - enjoy your conference!

MrsA - great to hear from you! Could you share some of your sex drive around please Grin

mrsDen - thanks for commenting on my temps. You're right, they're still above the coverline and one day won't really be too drastic!

Hope everyone else is ok. I just wish the next few days were over with and I knew whether AF was going to appear or not!

essenceofSES · 01/04/2011 06:08

Well my temp has shot up this morning but I think that could be because I've got DS's cold and cough rather than anything else, especially as I have the usual brown spotting that I get a few days before AF.
Chart here

jaggythistle · 01/04/2011 06:45

Congrats Harder Grin Grin

Thanks for your positive post too, hope it's the month for all of us soon. :)

bossyboop · 01/04/2011 10:26

thanks essence, feel better today. Temp was high on CD1 but come down to where it should be now. Oh well, roll on the Wine at the weekend Smile

Newgolddream · 01/04/2011 10:34

Essence, auntied, mrsden, harderto amd weimy - I want to give you all big hugs because your words have meant so much to me, this really does mean a lot. Still not feeling great - which is strange because usually the feelings can be worked through and brushed of, certainly by CD 2, but Im still not feeling positive., today is CD7, really should swi tonight (didnt last night, long story, had to get home from work by public transport instead of car which took twice as long) as I can ovulate from CD10 onwards.

Not feeling great physically now anyway - I was in such a rush when the taxi came to take me to the station this morning I rushed out without my glasses, everythings fuzzy lol and the headache is starting already! Please let my car be fixed today lol!!!

harder - yeh!!!! Grin Lots of congratulations!!!! GrinGrinWine

mrsarch - nice to hear how you are, please dont worry about lack of symptoms - I never did with any of my boys, not ever experienced any morning sickness, felt a right fraud lol.

boosboop - aw hope your feeling a bit better

essence - I wake at all sorts of different times and Im generally awake before I take my temp for a bit to, usually take it around 5am, I find being awake doesnt really affect mine. I would go witht he temp you took at 6.05am probably?

Newgolddream · 01/04/2011 10:36

essence - just saw your temp rise this morning, fx its not the cold and spotting settles diown but the start of a BFP!

bossyboop · 01/04/2011 14:38

Thanks Newgold, hope your day gets better. Wish I could send you some of my feeling betterness but there's barely enough as it is.

Any happy thoughts anyone...?!

Scrummybumb · 01/04/2011 18:32

newgold and others, sorry for have gone so quiet, but mad week at work and socially. I totally get what you are going through. I had exactly the same early in this cycle (scroll few pages back and you'll see my rant). I wasn't at l in the mood and even thought I'd give up the whole thing. but somehow managed to force myself to SWI and told myself to try and 'have fun'. Now, with the low moods passed, I'm glad I did. The low moods have disappeared and I'm having a great time this week. Still thinkin wether to take a break next month if no BFP (off on hols and a wedding) but cos of my age, not sure wether I can 'just relax and forget about it' if that makes sense. I've noted on other threads loads of people feeling the same way and I'm sure is the spring. Studies have shown that spring brings depression on a lot of people - we're all supposed to be 'happy' etc when the sun comes! Whatever! So, hang in there and look after number 1

harder so glad about your news! Congratulations!!!
The stats for this thread are looking great, which brings hope to us all.

MrsA really glad to hear from you. And glad to hear it's all going well. I just hope I'll be symptom free, not sure how to hide it if I'm sick all the time?! Have you told people in RL world yet or are you waiting for your 12 week scan?

Here's to a great weekend to all of us! (you think I should POAS on Sunday or would that be just too cruel if it's BfN?)

bossyboop · 02/04/2011 16:02

oh I am being utterly ridiculous and would appreciate you confirming this also Blush I had a couple of days of blood tinged cm then nothing then what looked like the start of af on thursday. But af has amounted to only a bit of brown spotting and blood tinged cm only when I wipe. This month I have not had sore boobs or cramps like I normally would but accepted af was on her way as there were red spots on thurs so took that to be cd1 thinking it would get heavier throughout the day but didn't. So I changed my chart to spotting which shows a dip but temp back up today. So I poas this morning in secret and went back to bed but kept checking it with the light off my mobile and there was nothing to see. DH got out of bed an hour after I poas so I opened the curtains hoping to do some holding up to the light squinting to see imaginary lines. However as plain as day there was a faint 2nd line which I couldn't see until the curtains were open. So later on tried an asda cheapie which didn't go well at all after peeing over the control window and soaking the test strip so the whole lot went pink. It did eventually sort itself out to reveal a bfn. Asda ones are 15mlu or whatever it is and the cheapies are more sensitive at 10. Having done another cheapie test after a couple of hours without peeing it has an imaginary line, well it looks more like an evap. But the faint pos is definitely pink, even dh agreed. FF has me at 10dpo but looking at my chart I don't necessarily think that is right.

Someone give me a good shake and tell me to change my chart back to af instead of dragging this cycle out any longer! I was hoping to be saved from having a HSG now I just don't know what to do about having it as you are meant to have it on a certain day as I am unsure about CD1 it looks like I may have to delay having that until my next cycle Confused

This is my 3rd faint pos in the last 4 months and I should really know better by now than to give it any real thought. A good shake welcome!

MollyDefoe · 02/04/2011 16:11

Hi bossy - I'm not at all an expert at this charting business, but I'd say from your chart that it looks like your body tried to ovulate around CD10, but then it was delayed until CD21. That would mean that you're currently 10DPO (is that right?), which is a bit early for AF if your normal LP is 14 days. But could the temp dip and spotting be signs of implantation? FX!

Scrummybumb · 02/04/2011 16:14

bossy if I were you, I'd be heading to chemist to get CB to put your mind at rest, either way....And if BFN, I'd call GP on Monday to explain....

Scrummybumb · 02/04/2011 16:16

Ps. Am agreeing with FF that your 10DPO....

bossyboop · 02/04/2011 17:02

thanks for the replies, I have ordered some CB from amazon, should be here by tues which means if AF arrives properly in the meantime they wont get wasted but if there is any hint of hcg it will have increased by then so win win situation apart from the fact I can't think about anything else in the meantime! I was shaking when I saw the faint pos, the other couple I have had (dec and jan) took hours to turn pos but this one was so quick. I don't know how long exactly it took as after a couple of mins of poas I went back to bed, I checked it in the light after an hour but with the curtains closed it looked neg so it may have turned pos within the time I don't know Confused I guess the asda one wouldn't show up this early if I was 10dpo but then again I thought maybe I ovulated cd19 as that was the last day of ewcm but not sleeping well and temping at the wrong time messed with my temps. Oh dear this is awful as I am sure it will only end in disappointment and of course seeing a 2nd line instantly made me feel 'different' and now I just feel so sick but think it's just the not knowing. Roll on tomorrow for more FMU.

mrsden · 02/04/2011 17:11

I also agree it looks like you are 10dpo bossy. Did you manage any SWI around that time?
