expiry date effects?

Does anyone out there know what effect a test being expired has on the result? It looks like a positive, but I then noticed expiry date November 2011...

Could it have given a false positive?

I'm just looking for reassurance in case anyone knows more about this, I am off to buy more in date tests now! But can't let myself think I'm pregnant until I get a 'real' positive!

did u mean nov 10 not nov 11 as were only feb and that would make the test in date, i would deff get another in date one just to be sure good luck.

Yes, meant 2010 not 11. Must be pregnancy brain already, just did a digital and got a clear positive! Thanks for replying Smile.
