A little help here please ....

... as I am confused!

I am 11dpo, CD 25. I got a BFP 1-2 weeks on a Clearblue digital test at 545ish this morning. That's the [YAY!!!!!] part. Now for the part: a couple of hours later I started bleeding watery/mucusy red blood, just a trickle when I wipe and arge ish spots on a sanitary towel. It's been happenng all day now. It does seem brown-ish, and it doesn't smell like my usual AF (sorry for TMI I am just trying to compare everything to my "normal" to see wtf is going on)... so, what do you think is going on??? I have had some cramping on and off. If it is AF I am 3-4 days early. It seems too much blood maybe for implantation. Yet I got a positive??? ANd despite the bleeding I have all the "signs": bloated, gassy, gigantinorks with loads of blue veins all over them, electric nipples that are now dark and bumpy and leaking when I squeeze them... I just don't know what to think.

I called my Huisarts (family Dr here in Holland) and he basically said "relax and let the body decide what it's doing, call me if you're still pregnant at 12 weeks" !!! Which was no help at all.

I know I am not even late for my period yet, but I would really like to get off the rollercoaster now, please thanks very much.

Maybe it will help to tell you that i had a bleed for a day or two which sounds like yours for a implantion bleed, so wouldn't rule that one out just yet!

I have had the same thing!

I got a BFP a couple of days ago at 11DPO (so feint only I could see the line ) and I normally have AF on 14DP. At 13DPO I had a big bleed just like you described, with clotty bits in too. I thought it was all over but I have had blood tests done (they are cheap as chips over here in Costa Rica) and I am still pregnant When I had the bleed I also felt really crampy and was convinced it was AF but it did stop.
I should say that I already know that I am more likely to bleed during pregnancy as I have Ashermans Syndrome, but I didnt really expect it to start so soon and its a bit bloody scary! Hope yours is one of the many totally harmless bleeds that some women have and the rest of your pregnancy continues smoothly.

I just did my last pregnancy test, just to see (damn that curiousity, we all know what it did to the cat!) and it came back "Niet zwanger (not pregnant") ???????????????? It was a different sort of test to the CBD but supposedly the same sensitivity? Does this mean I was briefly pregnant but lost it right away? WTF is going on?????

It could be a chemical pregnancy - these
are common, basically you are pregnant but it is a very early miscarriage. Because
pregnancy tests can be so sensitive these days a lot of pregnancies get picked up - and then AF comes as normal. If the woman hadnt tested then she would never have known. Im sorry if this is you but the only thing to do is monitor your bleeding and see what happens I think.

Just wanted to hijack the thread to congratulate Mummyabroad. So pleased that everything has worked out for you. I'm crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly.

So, the story isn't over... I spotted a little bit on Friday, bled fairly heavily on Saturday, spotted again most of Sunday and then nothing! My period is usually 5-7 days of flooding. This time it was 1 dy of bleeding and 2 spotting, and was 3-4 days earlier than my period was actually due! I took a test on Friday but now I am doubting the result as this bleeding was sooooooooo unusual compared to my usual period. Also my boobs are still very heavy and veiny. Does Hcg stay in your body for very long after a chemical pg (if that's what I had?) I think I need to go buy another test maybe? I don't feel quite right iyswim. Can't drink coffee at all and I usuall live off the stuff. Ugh I don't know what is in my head and what my body is doing!!!!!!
