Evaporation lines

Helppppppppp please.

Been trying to confirm baby number 4 for quite some time now. My cycles are 30-35 days long and i have no idea at all how long my lutel phase is.
I am no on day 37 of my cycle and no sign of a period :) I have'nt had a cycle this long before but i am not getting my hopes up as the amount of months i have thought i was pregnant and it turned out i was'nt!
Anyway i took a first response early result pregnancy test yesterday morning on day 36 in my cycle and it came up negative in the first 2 minutes so i thought damnit had a little cry and then got side tracked with the other kids.
When i went to throw it away an hour later there was a faint pink line where a postive result would be. It is definetly pink but very faint. The box said you should read the results within 3 minutes and anything after 10 minutes is'nt a correct reading. I don't know if this line took 10 mins to arrive but it definetly was'nt there after 2-3 mins. I did some internet research and found out pregnancy tests can have an evaporation line once the urine has dried but it is not a true positive :( Is this true? I also read on the internet that First response have no eveaporation lines!
I AM DRIVING MYSELF NUTS! I took another pregnancy test ( a cheap Predictor one) this afternoon (day 37 on cycle) after lots of drinking water and toilet trips and that was negative and no evaporation line has come up.
Do you think it was because i had diluted my urine so much and i am in the early stages of pregnancy so my hcg levels are not high. The First response still has a very faint pink line on it but is it an evaporation line???
So sorry to go on and on and on. I think i may be going crazy xxx

Ok here's what I know...

Evap lines tend to be grey/have no colour. True second lines have colour. Yours was pink? I'd test again in a day or two.

Lots of luck Grin xx

Yes it is definetly pink but very faint. I so hope it is a postive. Thank you for replying :) xxx

No worries. Now you have to promise to come back and tell us when you know for sure Grin

I have had these vvv faint lines with all my pregnancies. They do drive you mad but you should test again I think it is a def positive! I've had 8 of these since sunday and splashed out on one of those fancy clearblue tests today as I knew the other tests were postive but they were driving me mad just incase I was wrong. Anyway, got the word PREGNANT which was very reassuring and 1-2 wks since conception (nice to know). It was worth the money as now I know my eyes were not deceiving me.
Good luck keep us posted xx

Yup I had one too - assumed it was an evaporation line, but tested again a few days later and it was a bfp. Good luck.
