Feint lines anonymous

So I have got a feint line, or shadow to be more exact. If I handed you the stick you would have to lift it up to eye level in full sunlight and squint a bit to see it; something I am sure we are all well practised at My DH on the other hand is more likely to say "What second line?"

So, I know "a line is a line" but how feint is too feint to even BE a line?

I'm starting this thread more for fun really and to see if anyone else is in the same boat and wants to listen to me waffle on in my excitement.

I'm not a patient person and I live in a country where blood tests are cheap, so in 5 hours I get to find out for sure what is going on.

In the meantime, anyone else carrying a newly peed on stick around the house and furtively checking it for changes every 5 mins?

I don't want to disappoint you but i had a faint line a few weeks back and got really hopeful and then i came on!! Felt like screaming!! I hope this isn't the case with you and wish you luck although i am tempted to retest as i'm still feeling really strange even tho i had a heavy period so who knows...keep us updated and fingers crossed for you xxx

Wow, fingers crossed mummyabroad, a line is a line :) I got a very feint line at 10 dpo in my last pregnancy and it gradually got darker each time I tested.

Really hope your blood tests come back positive and then at least you won't have to worry about further tests or a diagnostic hyst.

Thanks tunnocks and Helen nice to know feint lines do turn into solid ones, and that it happens quite fast too. I must admit I always expected a BFP would be more dramatic (was the last two times) so this being in limbo thing is a bit hard.

Kay sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy - that is just what I am worried about happening to me. Though in your shoes I would definitely re-test, just in case. Much preferable to waiting and wondering IMO.

A line is certainly a line. I've had 8 very faint lines since Sunday and some light spotting, it's been so worrying. Missed my period today and line is darker so def positive. I just hope I can stay pregnant this time! One thing for sure thought, any further pregnancies I will not test early!! Its been far to miserable and confusing. But am starting to feel a little bit positive

No I have 3 tests left and am trying to string out doing them for 3 days but keep getting the urge to do them all at once. Need to learn self control. What about you any further updates/tests? I think it's a def BFP for you

Blood test results are in. Its 59.1. Anything over 30 = defo pregnant Time to tell DH now. The rest of the world will have to wait for a lot longer yet though.

Lyra self control is overrated. I much prefer spending a fiver on a pack of 25 tests from Amazon - far more satisfying

For what its worth, did another cheapie test and its still super feint, I think it will take ages to get a proper line with this brand.
