Symptoms as early as this?

6 days before period is due...the most painful breasts I've had since the last time I was pregnant....of course it could just be pre-menstrual

Don't want to waste a test until I'm actually late

and god have I just flipped into the worst mood lol

Have been ttc but periods are all over the place.
I have sore boobs, grumpy and stroppy, knackered (but have two small boys!).
I "feel" pregnant but test is negative, is it in my head?????
