I have numerous problems,
been ttc for 14 months since my 5th mc

Went and had loads of bloods taken.

All have come back normal.

Treatement recommended is:

When/if i next get pregnant to have
5g folic acid,
Daily asprin
Luetenising hormone injections twice a week till week 12.

Give it another 6 months of ttc then go back & begin to worry about fertility.

( I have a 7 year old but had 2 mcs prior to having him)
During last miscarriage i asked them to check my overies during an internal scan...normal.
I am 40btw Sad

Any one had this and did it work?

Hi cherrychoo, am really sorry to hear of your losses, it must be heart breaking. I'm afraid I haven't had an direct experience of recurrent miscarriages, I've only had on pregnancy loss myself, at 14 weeks, but I was just going to suggest you maybe post on the miscarriage / pregancy loss board, the ladies are very knowledgeable on there and am sure someone would be able to offer you sone reassurance and advise.

Best of luck with your treatment plan

Not heard of that. Who is treating you? It doesn't sound particularly aggressive, on first sight, given your age and history.

Hardandsleazy · 19/02/2011 21:09

The first two are things have been suggested to me (have also had chequered history)- haven't heard of luteinismg hormone altough some discussion on taking progesterone but not yet decided. Come and join us in hut of gloom - a few more of similar age and background there

HI cherry there are lots of ladies over on the Recurrent Buns thread undergoing testing/treatment for recurrent miscarriage. Feel free to come join us or just ask some questions over there.

mummyabroad i have posted on there BUT it is such a busy & fast moving thread that i got lost and my questions remained unanswered.

Also they all seem to know each other, so i thought it best to just ask on a seperate thread of my own.
