hi mum's!! am new to this so thought i would give it ago.
I have two children already, my DS is nearly 4 and my DD is 2. My partner and i recently decided to try for another, however i had a implant put in my arm shortly after DD's arrival. When we had the appointment to remove the implant the consultant couldnt remove so was referred to a specialist. They managed to remove said implant under scan control so i am now fully fertile again :).
My question is (if anyone can help) has anyone had any experience with trying to get pregnant after removal of implants? how long does it take? should i wait until i have had a period?? lots of questions...please help.

I was on the depo injection last year and I believe its the same ingredient that is in the implant.
Its taken me 6 months to get back to sort of normal and have been trying since August, still not getting regular but am just trying anyway.
It's my 3rd aswell so keep telling myself the longer it takes the better on the 2 boys (5 and 20 mths) I already have...

Hiya, I'm TTC number 1 after coming off the implant. Had a period a couple of weeks after implant removed and then one again 32 days later. My cycle has always been a bit on the long side so i'm assuming i'm back to normal. The Doctor told me that you can get pregnant straight away so use condoms, even though I said I wanted the implant removed so I could TTC Hmm

thank you both for your advice. wasnt really given any clues as to what would happen now implant has been removed. before implant was inserted my cycle was always on the irregular side so will just hang on in there and see what happens. Am TTC so fingers crossed it wont take that long to xx
