Hello - latest update. Scan went ok, fluid levels are fine. The Doppler has got worse since last week and is just about normal (measured 1 and above 1 is abnormal). Sonographer said that tied in with the reduced heart rate on the CTG and sent me upstairs. They then got a consultant to check that he was happy for me to go home and come back tomorrow for monitoring and he did. He wants me to come in every other day for monitoring and has organised a more sophisticated Doppler scan for Tuesday, assuming that we get there. JC has been moving around like mad all day and making me feel quite uncomfortable, not sure if he's trying to turn head down??

QA I think vajazzling is a bit beyond me, and anyway, I wouldn't want to step on vjays toes as she is of course the queen of vajazzling Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight.

louey That's really positive that they let you go home and are moving towards every other day monitoring. Did the scan tell you anymore about the size? Ouch to being uncomfortable, but great that JC has been reassuring you with lots of movements, clever baby!

Morning QA - no they didn't measure the size. They only assess growth every 2 weeks as they often have a spurt in the second week, so I think we would have another growth scan next Thursday. Doesn't feel like I've grown but you can't always tell.

Off to do more filing (and shredding).

That makes sense. Hope you are feeling ok and coping with all this. Not easy! Stuff the filing and shredding, get your feet up while you can

as for what did Dolly do???? Long story...
Bought two dresses from zara, both shrunk, ripped and was terrible after one wear. I cut out the tags do to them being like a novel, so many pages of care instructions ( you know that kind i mean) threw away receipt (meh) anyway as they were clearly faulty i decided it was obviously within my rights to return them.
Spend 20 god dammed minutes arguing with the store manager, who said i couldnt return them because i had washed them...well yes i said, how else would i know that they have shrunk?
20 mins back and forth he decided i was winning wasn't worth arguing with and decided to shut me up by exchanging for the huge pile of baby clothes i had picked for dolly (zara kids are fab and dolly has finally gone up a size )
On returning home i went to show dh all the new clothes, found a t shirt missing....looked everywhere, dog bed, fridge etc etc no t shirt.
Decided the manager obviously decided to piss me off and didnt put it in bag
In a mad rage called the store to complain, they said no problem they could trawl through cctv pics to keep it was place in bag....they would ring back.
While waiting for phone call decided to empty kitchen bin....
yep you guessed it...
There was the bloody t shirt.

Dolly - voting with her feet (or rather hand to bin co-ordination) I would, ahem, avoid Zara for a while and SO know what you mean about the excessive tags - scratchy as hell too.

Barbie - meant to comment earlier re: your hat dilemma. Will know better when you post link to outfit but IMO fascinators have been done to death. I know Kate Windsor nee Middleton loves them but they have reached saturation point. You can get them in Claire's Accessories - nuff said. I would still say yes to a hat though - what about a Trilby or pillar box one with slight veil over one eye - very female femme fatale..

louey sadly dh isn't staying in Italy, he joined a ship which has set sail for there, as soon as it dock's he will be off and on the next flight home. T minus 12 days.

barbie look on the bright side, it wasn't that long ago that all your evenings were dealing with a non-settling Dolly. How things have changed. You need a gadget - something like an ipad and lots of games to while away the hours while DH is away...his trip doesn't sound like much fun after all.

JC is fine thank you, all a bit odd today not having to go into hospital. We've managed to buy a new mattress for the spare room bed and for some reason the shop assistant has decided to call his yet-unconceived child Isaac as he liked the name. I think Dylan was on my original list but DH doesn't like it. The boys have been lovely today, we had a nice hour snuggled up in bed this morning while they played on our phones and we snoozed for a bit longer. The weather is pretty grim here so they've been allowed time on the Wii and have been singing nursery rhymes to the karaoke game they've got, it was very sweet to watch (less sweet to listen to though...)

Got to go, DH has just told me its nearly their tea time and I haven't started cooking yet!

barbie ooooh loving the style of dress that's gorgeous. I'm normally all for hats at weddings but if you don't want to look too 'done up' I would say no to a hat as there's nothing worse than feeling you've tried to hard when everyone else isn't as dressed up... you already have the louboutins and if you do something fancy with your hair you'll look great.
