ThePFJ · 20/05/2011 05:46

Hi everyone. I thought I'd check in and update you, since I am all in bits right now and I have no one to talk to.

I have had about 7 miscarriages since I last spoke on here, its been very hard. All at around 8 weeks into a pg.
This is the last time I try without aid from a doctor. I miscarried last month, and hey presto I think I am pg again now. I am not quite 4 weeks yet so we'll see... but my right boob is so swollen, I am covered in spots...headaches, exhaustion, heart burn..... I have never felt so hormonal since I had my one and only little one.... or maybe thats just me. Maybe all of this is 'just in my head'.
I can't wait to take the pg test on the 26th. I remember last year having a miscarriage in may... thinking the pg would be the february baby I always wanted. I was at a posh dinner party... and I bled everywhere.

I just feel so happy and so sad. I am a mix of 'I don't knows'

I wish my mum was here.

Love ThePFJ xxx

Morning
louey what a worry for you, I pray everything is ok. We are all here for virtual support. Please keep us posted.

lbm can't wait to see pics Smile

4ever get baking my lovely, better still get biscuit to help Grin

pfj you poor love you have been through it. Fingers crossed this wee bean will stick.

I'm only away for a few days next week (phew) I couldn't do a whole week away I'd miss all my boys too much Smile

Oh and louey dh is raising money for the teenage cancer trust.

loueytb3 · 20/05/2011 22:07

pfj it's lovely to hear from you but I'm so sorry you have had such a rough time Sad. Fingers crossed it's different this time round. Why are you only going to be seen by a dr if this one isn't successful? I thought you would be seen after you've had 3 mcs in a row. Hopefully it won't come to that. Big (((((((hugs)))))) from me.

I have managed to get most stuff today in case I end up being admitted tomorrow and have packed a bag. Hopefully they will let me go home! Going in first thing - will try and keep you posted. Hope you all have good weekends. X

littlebellsmum · 20/05/2011 22:16

louey hope that you get home soon tomorrow and that Jackie Chan is at a good fighting weight

loueytb3 · 21/05/2011 11:00

I'm back home - bp and urine all fine. CTG was fine although it is definitely moving less than it was. I have a consultant appt on Monday and they want me to come in for monitoring twice weekly as well, which I'm not surprised about. Am relieved, hopefully it will grow a bit in the next few weeks. I weighed myself this morning and I haven't put any weight on in the past 2-3 weeks so perhaps it's no surprise that its growth has dropped off. Not sure what I can do about it though. Off to sort out the nursery now while I can!

barbie1 · 21/05/2011 16:27

Hi Girls,
Hope you are all having a good weekend. Sil has finally gone and Dolly has been sleeping 7.30 til 6.30am!!! Shock (fingers crossed it will last longer than the last 2 nights) but for some reason i just dont seem to have enough hours in the day Hmm

Dh is away for 10 days from tues so expect a lot more post from me.

In the mean time ....

louey sorry i could reply to your text, me phone has buggered up for some reason and wont allow me to send text? Im glad things seem a little more on track for you now. I have everything crossed that baby will hold on for at least a few more weeks and you both gain that much needed weight. Like i said in text, D had markers to say she had stopped growing but it wasnt the case. Some times they are just in a bad position to get a true scan result. Rest up xxx

pfj i thought of you the other day. Im so sorry things arent going right for you. Praying this one sticks for you, please keep us updated.

Right im going to make the most of my sat night and snuggle up and watch a film with dh.

Catch you all laters xxx

QuestionableAntics · 21/05/2011 19:05

Hi everyone, sorry for going Awol again, I have been meaning to post for ages, but a mix between no computer access, being very busy and being very tired has meant I haven't been able to catch up, which puts me off posting as I feel bad for not keeping up with you all. However, I am going on the assumption that a little is better than nothing and hoping you will all forgive me for being so rubbish, especially as I do think of you all often Blush

Today is no different I'm afraid, too little time and not enough to do 'proper' personals. Going out soon, but didn't want another weekend to go by without checking in. Loving all the birthday talk, for all the LO's. LBM your post was lovely and i know 4ever and cupcake will be so looking forward to celebrating too.

louey big relief that they haven't kept you in, will keep my fingers crossed that your bump has a growth spurt now and gives you some well deserved time to just rest and just be before the big day. Very exciting that it is getting closer now. Have we heard how BQ is going?

PFJ I am glad you popped back on to update us, just so sorry that it is with sad news, I hope that this time it will bring happy news and your little bean stays put. Lots of luck to you.

A big hello to all you other lovely emmsy's, vjay blue and barbie hope your Lo's are doing well, yay to more sleep barbie!

moon glad things are progressing with you, Am I right in thinking you wrre having an appointment Friday? (Apologies if not!) If so, hope it went well.

monkey Have been thinking of you often and wondering where you are 'at' at the moment? Likewise with mermaid from my scan reading, i don't think i have seen much of you around?

I am sorry for the quite frankly crap personals and for missing some of you out, I promise to be better soon,

Have to go now, but a quick update from me, nearly 17weeks now Shock Smile scan showed a wriggly moving baby, Smile Smile and it is starting to feel more real, though have realised that the worry just doesn't go away, but am trying not to let it overshadow the excitement. DS is so excited that he is going to be a big brother and has just been so adorable Everybody has been so lovely when we told them and said what a brilliant big brother DS will be

Be back soon (famous last words yet again!) Grin

ThePFJ · 22/05/2011 10:39

Hi all,

loueytb3 - I am going to see the docotor this time because my partner and I didn't want to rush into the whole ' being poked and proded thing' straight away, so as not to add too much stress ttc and all that... but we feel its the right time to see a gp now if you see what I mean. When are you due louey? I hope its ok.
QA - huge hugs to you girl, glad you are still here. You are 17 weeks PG? Wow I am SO happy for you!! :)
Barbie - thanks for thinking of me :)
and Vjay thanks for the good bean karma....

And talking of sticky beans... I am doing my pg test on Weds/Thurs... and this morning.. OMG my boobs are out of this world sore. Much more sore than they have ever been with any of my pregnancies. They are swollen badly too. Either there is something really really wrong, or there are alot more hormones sloshing about in me this time.. which is possibly a good thing??? I feel like, as always, I am clutching at reasons why this time it will be alright. I know in my heart I am pg.

Love to you ALL. I'll hang about for a while today.
ThePFJ xxx

ThePFJ · 22/05/2011 10:41

docotor? cough. ahem.
DOCTOR.

Any other spelling errors or keyboard related fudges I am blaming on my cats. Because I can.

BlueMoon1981 · 22/05/2011 13:01

pfj its lovely to see you popping in, you deserve the hugest hug, I am so sorry you have been through so much crap since you were last here. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for a sticky bean this time.

qa our appointment is this coming Friday, am a bit scared and dont really know what to expect, does anyone have any ideas? I am assuming it will be mainly a chat about our history and discussing more tests? And 17 weeks already, wow time flies (although maybe not for you).

louey glad you are back home for a while longer yet, hope barbie has put your mind at rest a little bit.

and speaking of barbie nice to have you back, hope you had a lovely time with your sil, looking forward to some stories :)

Sorry for the short post again, i never seem to get much time these days but i think of you all loads. Hope you've all had good weekends :)

ThePFJ · 22/05/2011 13:21

Thank you BlueMoon - Hugs back to you xxx

littlebellsmum · 22/05/2011 20:16

Really pleased you are home, louey and getting so well looked after.

thepfg sorry to hear your troubles. Hopefully this is the one - fingers and toes crossed

QA Shock 17 weeks - wow!

Got to run - love to everyone else. Just back from weekend camping and need to grab the last of the light to tidy the garden....

loueytb3 · 22/05/2011 20:33

pfj yes I do see and I understand why you didn't want to rush into the testing route. Hopefully you wont need to though, your symptoms sound very promising. My EDD is 29th June and at the moment I want to get to June!

QA fab news about your wriggly baby - are you going to find out what the sex is??? Glad your DS is so excited - that's one advantage of having siblings that understand more - they do get more interested in what's going on. Luke especially is very excited and keeps telling me that the baby is coming in June. I expect once it arrives he will be a bit more put out.....

moon I'm not sure what will happen at your appt - it seems to vary so much by area. Do you know who it's with? They might suggest clomid as that seems to be the first thing they try when there are no obvious reasons for not being able to conceive.

barbie yay yay yay to a sleeping Dolly! Let's hope it continues! Sorry you are losing DH for such a long time, I'm sure I will be on MN a lot now I'm off work Grin

mermaid come back please and let us know how you are. And more importantly - I need some inspiration for names. We are really struggling to agree on a boys name. DH has vetoed everything. We might have a girls name

bluesatinsash · 22/05/2011 20:39

phew! Louey - glad your still cooking Smile. Tis a roller coaster for sure! and yes scunnered is to be royally pissed off, rolls off the tonuge in a nice harrumph way,

QA - thanks for letting us know how you are and echo your at your DS looking forward to being a big brother.

pfj - what a time you have had... Everything crossed for this bean x

LBM - camping? Is there no end to your talents Grin. I planted 24 bedding flowers this avvo but veg had to wait as my tatties haven't chitted yet.

Vjay - well done to your DH!! And oooh, off to a wedding aborad Smile Smile. What are you wearing? Enjoy your long lies but bet you feel like you're missing a limb without your DSs

Barbie - ta ra SIL and yay! to Dolly sleeping all night. My B is waking at 5.40am on the dot - Confused He has a black out blind but going to buy black card tomorrow to sellotape to his window

ThePFJ · 22/05/2011 23:03

louey - congratulations :) I hope it all goes well.. not long now for you. I am so jealous. :P Enjoy your bump - I miss feeling my baby hiccuping inside me from my first proper pregnancy... it was magical.

I sneaked a 1st response pg test today and got a negative... I am hoping thats because its too early to be testing. (My period is due tues-thurs) I am buying some more pg tests tommorrow.. I might go for clearblue this time.

I am too tired to post more.. I'll catch up tommorrow. Love to ALL xx

4everhopeful · 23/05/2011 00:12

Blue your birthday celebrations sound fantastic and truly fitting! Grin You do make me laugh with the image of being the fronked auntie wearing too much perfume and rouge! Grin The cake test run went well, im making the official cake on wednesday! I do also have a disney princess cake as 'spare' however! The party food was brought on friday, the decs and party bags and games are sorted and I wrapped the pressies yesterday while sitting in the garden! Grin Just a tad excited, can you tell?! Grin

Vjay have a fantastic time this week at the wedding! Its a shame you couldnt hook up with Monkey, talking of which hopefully between us we can all find a date in August that suits cos would love to get together!

LBM camping? You dont stop do you woman! Grin Looking forward to seein pics of babybelles party!

Cupcake your little mans amazing day is nearly here too! I remember how frustrated you were this time last year being overdue! As i said earlier, I just cant believe that exactly a year ago to the day, I went into hospital to be induced Shock I was having my first contractions by midnight and moved into our own room, and thinking we'd be meeting our little girl by the following day! Who knew it would be 4 days later! Grin

Lastly not leastly Mermaid thinking of you lots this week my lovely.. X

Right time to get some zzzz's big week ahead! Grin

loueytb3 · 23/05/2011 11:00

blue I am really liking your birthday plans especially the bit where you go shopping on your own for the day Grin You are going to be a busy busy girl over the next week or so. And thank you for explaining what scunnered means - now what does chitted mean (sprouted???). I never knew there were so many scottish words that I didn't know.

pfj Boo for the bfn but it is maybe a bit early?

4ever when is Summer's actual birthday? (I know I should go back and find out, lazy louey). Am in awe of anyone that actually makes their child's birthday cake, I am too chicken to try. I can do muffins and that's about it. I have aspirations to bake more, just don't get around to it!

BQ hope you are ok, and just busy. Your baking prince isn't far off being baked!

First official day of maternity leave - no children and I have a cup of coffee and chocolate orange to hand. And a long list of things to sort out - mostly I can do them sat down though. JC's room is basically done, got to order some new curtains but that's about it. As DH pointed out, even if I have him/her now, they would be in hospital for a while anyway. Just back from signing a new contract with my lovely childminder and she gave me a card and present for being with her for a year - a bunch of leisure vouchers so we can do stuff as a family. She is so wonderful I can't tell you!

4everhopeful · 23/05/2011 12:35

Yay to maternity leave Louey Grin and yummy to chocolate oranges! Mmmm!

Summers birthday is on thursday, but I had the longest ever induction - 5 days Shock hence this time last year I was already in hospital having contractions!

monkeybumsmum · 23/05/2011 12:46

Just a quicky as only got ten mins as am at work!

VJay are you going anywhere near the Belgian border or will you be the other side of Holland? Would love to see you if you´re anywhere near us? Have car will drive....

Louey so glad things are okay for the moment and that you´re safe and sound at home sorting stuff out. Save a piece of that chocolate orange for me please Grin I love them!

Blue your poor dh having to deal with so many b´days all at once! Bet you have him well trained though Grin Your plans sound lovely! I too would adore for Isaac and Charlie to meet - if you ever fancy some belgian chocolate and frites with mayonnaise you know where to come!

4ever what a special time it is for you and your lovely dh Smile The run up to the first birthday is magical, albeit with a mixture of emotions. I felt so proud that he´d turned one, and we felt so blessed to have him (still do!) but at the same time it´s when they start being little boys/girls and not babies anymore [sob] I got really emotional! Well done on your cake, I bet it will be gorgeous - please make sure you take lots of pics!

PFJ Sorry to hear about what a rough time you´ve been having. I really hope things start improving for you soon x

Right, got a few seconds left so will bring you up to date on the PLAN so far! We finished our second cycle of IUI, and it didn´t work, so I´ve just started with medication y´day for the third. I have an appt on the 10th June with the consultant so will find out more then, but think that we will probably be starting IVF over the summer. Have been getting a bit worried about all those hormones and the enormity of what it does to your body, but spoke to a midwife about it all on Saturday and she´s calmed me down slightly!

Right, must dash, but lots of love to you all and will try to be back soon! xxx

loueytb3 · 23/05/2011 13:30

monkey have finished chocolate orange (sorry!) and have no more in the house, but will be going on a mission later on to get some more Grin. I'm sorry the last round didn't work but fx this one will. Glad the mw calmed you down!

4ever Thursday - thank you. No wonder you are relieving her birth already, 5 day induction = not fun.

Right, off to hospital. Be back later (I hope!)

cupcakefairy · 23/05/2011 15:30

Hi ladies..
louey so glad everything is ok with you and JC...just remember every single hour/day he/she spends inside makes it all that much safer to come out. It would be fine if they did have to deliver early but very glad they're not doing it yet! Well done you sorting the nursery- we're only just sorting out Jude's room now!! GrinBlush ordered lovely big Babar poster at the weekend to frame for his wall :)
Ok, and names... here are some suggestions from me of boys' names I love-
Ralph (shush vjay Grin)
Ezra
Freddie
Jesse
Edgar
Teddy
Albert
Amos
Benedict
...All of these I can never use as they are either in dh's family, don't go with our surname, don't go with Jude, or dh hates! Boooo.

monkey so sorry second cycle didn't work :( but glad you have a nice mw to talk to who can calm you down. FX it will work before it comes to ivf but even if it comes to that, look at louey's sis, now pg from ivf :) you are so going to be pregnant again before the year is out.
I totally get feeling emotional about babies turning 1...can't remember if I already mentioned I got v emotional at the nct baby's party we went to... there was a moment where that lush version of Over the Rainbow by Israel whatsit was playing and there were bubbles all round the room the babies were all grinning at and trying to pop...I just totally welled up! Who knows what I'll be like watching Jude blow out his one little candle.

moon thinking of you for Friday. I think as you say it will be lots of history discussion...but really I have no idea about these things Confused

qa Shock can't believe you're 17 weeks!! How did that happen?? So glad ds is happy and everyone else too.

4ever I remember this time last year very well!! Have a friend who is a few days overdue now and just can't stop thinking about her!

pfj so sorry for your sad news :( hoping for good news for you this week!!

blue Jude was waking super early with the birds too Confused but has managed to stretch it out a bit more over last week or so hope the black card works! Plans coming along nicely for Jude's bday thanks...only a very low-key bbq at the ILs...family and our best pals (the ones who have baby boy just few months younger than Jude) only.

barbie fab news about Dolly sleeping better! Hooray!

Right must dash, nappy to change!

Hi girls..

Dolly is in bed, Dh is at football....Barbie is lying on the sofa chillaxing Grin

louey how did it go today, cupcake is right in her post above ^^ every minute he/she is inside you the better the outlook becomes and the longer you have to enjoy your mat leave Wink
I loved the name ralph too, but the girls on here vetoed it, specially the naughty vjay and her giggles about it meaning something naughty Shock
I like Grey, henry, rafe, Charlie, milo, um....i'm sure there were a few others but just cant think right now...For girls im loving Eddie and the moment, agnes and....

qa Shock 17 weeks????? How the heck did that happen? There i was thinking you were due your 12 week scan! Blumming heck i must of been hibernating or something. Hope you are wobbling slightly less as the weeks stack up? Are you finding out the flavour at the 20 week scan? Oh and dont feel guilty about not updating every day, this is the beauty of the thread, you can pop back to the green house when ever you like Smile

mermaid are you still on the camel trail? Bloody long bike ride if you are Wink Hope you are ok my lovely, missing you x

monkey awwwwww C is gorgeous, really really gorgeous. How did i miss your millions of photo's on fb Hmm Have caught up with them all now (thanks for making me sit for half an hour while Dolly destroyed the joint Grin) Your house is beautiful, your garden fantastic and your baking looks good enough to eat Grin. Are you Cath kidston in disguise? Im also v Envy at the climbing frame....
Sorry the cycling didnt work out for you this time, i for one am very excited about your possible ivf in the summer. I have a very good feeling you will be sporting a bump at christmas Smile

moon I will be around all of friday to keep you company as you wait for the doc's. I think it's going to be a successful appointment for you and your dddh Smile I can also see you sporting a bump this coming festive season. Any more plans for the wedding?

I have a wedding to go to in 8 weeks or so and have bought a lovely dress but it's not at all forgiving, so have been hitting the gym hard, body balancing, zumba and body pump 3x a week. No bloody weight is shifting though Angry
What do we think of hats for a wedding, i really want to get one, it will suit the dress and my new, gorgeous C. louboutin's (which are on order...eek, squealing with excitment because i am shallow) but will i look over the top? Hmm

4ever your posts are making me smile, you sound so super excited with Biscuit turning one, its a joy to read Smile I cant believe i did it five months ago Shock I loved doing all the baking, bunting making and present wrapping. Take loads of photos and post some to us, i cant wait to see them.

Going to post now and write the second half....

Laters x

monkey cycle, not cycling Blush

barbie1 · 23/05/2011 17:14

blue Dolly is also waking about 5.50am, but we point blank refuse to go and get her out until at least 6am. This morning she was happily playing until 6.20am in her cot. ant moan too much, tis such an improvement on the last 15 months, i can cope with 6am Grin Also it's so light and warm most people tend to start the day early. We have been in the park at 6.30am and it has been busy too...We are planning on leaving her in the cot longer and longer, hoping she will get the message to either sleep or entertain herself until we go and fetch her. We stuck stuff to the window to try to 'black out' it ever more but its so hot the glue/tape melted and it slid down the pane, leaving a stick residue that took weeks to remove. We have black out blind and curtains but its not completely dark while the sun is up. The call to prayer doesnt help either....looking forward to KL (if we are still going?) so that we dont get woken by mosque man at 5.23am

Your birthday celebrations sound fab!

vjay hello missus, havent spoken to you in yonks! Will try to get on here when you are around so we can fill the last few pages with our silly stuff Grin Hope you have a fab time away...

lbm camping? i missed your post about this Shock you are wonder woman! We are going to stay in a caravan when we go back to cornwall for a week and attempting camping for a night but my mum is taking D home for the night so we can get drunk let our hair down and relax without worrying about our neighbours in tents...When are you going? where?
Kisses to your gorgeous Jojo from Dolly. Did you get one of the snack cups?

pfj everything crossed for you this month x

I had a day of barbie moments (telling this especially for moon)

We went to a posh family brunch on sat, all dressed up, heels, dress the works.
Pull up outside posh hotel to valet park the car (darling's in dubai you never park one's own car Wink)
On the barbie mobile the doors open outwards, together. Bit like opening your wardrobe iyswim?
Anyway, i was about to get out, hand on door, heel got jammed on door runner....
Valet man decided to open the door for me, he yanks it, im holding it on the inside (foot still jammed, see where this is leading?)
As the door comes open, i fell out of the door, head first onto hotel lobby. Feet still in car looking a bit like this
Only car is higher, much higher....
So much for dignified entrance
Dh comes around to my side and asks "barbie, what are you doing on the floor?" Hmm
Me: 'checking out the floor tiles!" Grin
Poor valet man could apologies enough.

Then, a few hours later...

Dolly was playing in the kids area, small wooden tables and chairs, face paints, etc.
This area in in full view of tables and people enjoying brunch.
They had haribo sweets for the kids so i kept popping down the check dolly was ok and taking a handful. Decided to fill up on haribo and not eat the yummy food on offer Hmm, sat down on wooden chair and did some colouring....
Went to get a different colour pencil and snap!!!!
The bloody chair was in half, and for the second time that day i was flat out on the floor!
Everyone laughed, nobody helped me and the worst thing was....
I dropped the handful of sweeties Grin
I then had to try to hide broken chair.
Wouldnt make a good murderer, not too good at concealing the evidence.

Wave to you all, off to put arnica on the bruises Smile

Catch you later s
