Ajay has bounced back now , he seems well and truly back to normal.
I took Cjay to the docs today because he walks right over on his left foot, the doctor checked him out and is refering him and he may have to have cups put into his shoes, also he noticed how flexible his fingers are, he can bend them backwards quite far , and he thinks he may be hypermobile, I'm not sure what this is, but will find out more at his referal I'm sure, but it is possibly linked to his feet too.

OK, I know I've missed loads but I've got to run. Quick update on me. I've only lost another pound. My leader says I'm not eating enough! MLS and her two gorgeous girls are coming to visit on Tuesday and H started walking today! Now the fun will really begin.

Oh Monkey what an absolute bugger. But it will (repeat after me) will will will will happen. We all know that getting pregnant doesn't just happen when you bd at the right time of the month. I don't know why it doesn't happen like that, if it did we'd all have several babies by now. You are giving yourself the absolute best chance of getting pregnant (apart from not having acupuncture, heehee!), I'm sure it won't come to ivf. Just keep chugging on & eventually you'll reach your goal at the top of the hill.

Louey eek you must have been crapping yourself in hospital. Have you got a doppler? How many weeks are you now? I can't believe you start mat leave in four weeks, it's gone so quickly - well it has for me!

MLS hope you have a wonderful holiday! Yes I have a doppler and I could have used it but I know it wouldn't have told me if the baby was in distress. Its kicked so much I haven't used it since around 17 wks.

vjayjay very glad to hear ajay is back to his cheeky self. Isaac is also hypermobile - it just means that he can bend his joints further than a normal person can. It also means he can bend himself into very small spaces (like tumble dryers), and get out of things very easily . We've had phases of him walking with his feet turned in too but it seems to have stopped. There was talk of him getting orthotics or other special shoes a couple of years ago but they didn't think he was bad enough. The feet/hands are definitely linked. We do occupational therapy exercises, particularly for his hands because his grip is not as good as it should be and he can't grip a pencil properly. OT is a nightmare to get on the NHS down here, but it may be better in Scotland. Sounds like you need to get him properly assessed.

Jeeze i've been away for a few days and mn has changed!

I happened to throw the laptop across the room a few nights back when a tiny massive bug landed on me and freaked me out I have no idea what it was, but it was hard shelled, freaky flying, buzzing thing! So i busted the computer, its working now but the top/screen keeps dropping back so it has to go back once the part lands in Dubai.....

Louey I always saw that cjay had bendy fingers but didn't realise there was a name for it. He can hold pencils fine but his fingers really flex in when he does. I googled a bit last night then thought I'd just wait and see what the experts say.

Its baking hot here today. Although I'm supposed to be working, this morning I went to see a friend with a newborn and had a little cuddle. She is convinced I'm having a girl for some reason. I half wish we had found out now.

vjay i'm hyper-mobile. There are tests you can do such as bending the forefinger back, straightening the legs to see if they bend backwards & the same with arms. The only problem i've really had is with my feet. The ligaments are so stretchy that i tend to be a bit flat footed & had to have physio as a kid.

This phone is driving me bananas - sorry for the bad punctuation! I'll be off now as doing this in The car & it's making me Feel sick. At least I'll be able to post while I'm away!

Have had little sis on the phone in a panic because the clinic phoned her this morning to say her progesterone levels were too low and she had to come in asap to go on a drip. Have spent the last hour googling her levels and I think its all fine and they are being very cautious (which is good, but her work are getting a bit pissed off with her disappearing at short notice). Hcg levels are looking very good. She should have a scan in the next week-10 days.

This is such a novelty being able to be in touch while on hol. Hotel is really
Fabaroonie. There is a little separate section of the room with a bunk bed & a tv for each of the bunks! I think dd1 has died & gone to heaven! We've put dd2's pop-up cot on the bottom bunk so effectively they are sharing a bunk bed ! The other thing that dd1 is going giddy over is the fact that there are roller coasters right outside our window.... when I mean right outside I mean literally outside our window, we could almost reach out & touch them. Thankfully they all stop at 6pm.

Will be back tomorrow to find out how I can post from my iPod! [bugrin]

Isn't FaceTime a video telephone call? Like skype but on your mobile? I'm not quite sure what an iPod touch is but I'm guessing it's a swanky touch screen version of an iPod. How do you access the Internet on it though? Pre-babies I was shit-hot with all things techie but now I feel like a bit of a dinosaur.

We had a scare with dd1 in the middle of the night which resulted in a panicky phone call to nhs direct & dh a 2am dash to asda in Blackpool for some meds. Will explain when I have a normal keyboard to type it all on!
