Hi ladies sorry didn't get to come on last night...spent lots of time on phone to my bf again who is really struggling with non-sleeping baby :( (neeko has already heard about it as I asked for her myummy-guru advice) the good news is last night was MUCH better for them with only one feed and 4 hour sleep stretches...long may it continue!

All good in cupcake household except for ds CONSTANTLY falling and slipping and injuring himself- he's gonna give me heart failure! He's just too adventurous! He's also got a face covered in bruises which I'm hoping will clear up for the wedding - not just for photos but so my family don't call social services

louey so glad the news was good and yes- pig out!! I've given up on the bridesmaid diet now as it's only a couple of days to go so I've been sampling the cakes dh has been trialing for the cake competition they're having at the wedding

moon great that results are normal. Like MLS I immediately thought of your luteal phase (lol, not a sentence I thought I'd ever say...) but sounds like yours is def long enough at 16 or more days...but def worth boosting progesterone in any way possible anyway to help sustain pregnancy when you get pregnant- vit C is also really important for that. Also the chapter in my fertility nutrition book about boosting progesterone says plenty of veg, whole grains and beans, fish and poultry, moderate use of dairy products (but they should be full-fat not low-fat) and limited red meat. Refined sugar, trans fats, excess salt, alcohol and caffeine should be limited too. Hope that helps :)

Have been hoping to catch up and failing, so thought i would at least post quickly instead of staying Awol. I can see from the recent posts (thanks to your post above cupcake i have some vague sense of what has been happening!) and can see that louey has had a worrying time, so pleased everything is ok and you are celebrating with plenty of goodies. A big hello to MLS too, lovely to have you back, especially as you were kind enough to point me in this direction after my MC. Everything crossed for you monkey how exciting.

I am very nearly 10 weeks now Have ended up booking a private scan as my NHS one which the date came through on Monday is not until I am nearly 15 weeks I was not happy and just knew I could never wait that long, did try phoning and begging asking for earlier, but the bank holidays have set everything back. Anyway, i am now going for my private scan Saturday morning Will report back then.

I promise to be back soon to catch up properly on all of your news, but hope you are all well and the weather is as lovely were you are as it has been here, though know for certain at least it is for barbie

Barbie Hope you're still coping. It's so difficult isn't it? You've been fantastic and Dolly's a lucky girl. FWIW I think you so deserve a couple of months without sustaining another human being. Dolly's still very little and a few months won't make much difference to the age gap. Obviously completely none of my business but when does that stop us on here!

Blue I was a bit excited when I thought you were TTC too. Think we're in the same boat as you as we're almost 100% certain we're sticking at two but DH won't go for the snip either. I sway back and forwards like Vjay and often hanker after something blue but remind myself how lucky and tired I am.

There must be something in the water as I too am stopping feeding. i dropped the morning feed on Monday and I'm stopping the bedtime one -which is the last one- this weekend. I have really mixed feelings about it, but it's time and we're going to Peter Kay the weekend after this, so I need someone else to put H to bed!
I started WW last week on H's birthday. I was already below my pre-preg weight but still working on my comfort eating stone from the MC. I lost 3lbs this week which I'm delighted with and I'm finding the new plan easy to follow.
MY DH is back to working silly hours again, but I'm off work for school hols for two weeks which makes it easier and he'll hopefully take a few days next week.

Think that's it from the Pink Plastic Palace for now. There's so much pink here I'm quite looking forward to the "alternative" teenage years

QA 10 weeks - yay! I really can't believe they gave you a scan appt at 15 weeks - what about the nuchal scan, its too late for that? I would phone up and give them hell, I know that there is lots of bank holidays coming up but its not as though you have waited until the last minute to tell them you are pg. They should be giving you money for a private scan TBH. I am looking forward to your post on Sat when you've seen an active little baby on the scan.

I am so tired and have a stinking headache. DH has been away for the last 2 days but I've had a decent night sleep both nights so can't blame that. Think the blooming phase may have come to an end. Boys have not been helping by not going to sleep in the evenings. I went outside last night at around 8pm to bring in some washing and looked up at their window to see them both on the windowsill No amount of shouting/bribing/silent treatment is working at the moment. It tends to end up with one of them walloping the other and then crying themself to sleep. When I went up to bed last night I found that Luke had taken off his nappy, put his pyjama bottoms back on and put himself to bed. I had to then try and put his nappy back on him without waking him to avoid wet-bed scenario in the middle of the night! Blackout blind is going up tonight...

sabs and cupcake wishing you both fab weekends , we want to see lots of pictures, but not on fb cos I wont see them!!!

Another fantastic and non alchaholic fronking weekend to our birthday girl Sabs! Would of loved to be there, and our plans fell through as well, but now iv put my back out and cant move or id be there!

Ditto on the advice re cyclogest though, my consultant put me on it with Summer, and advised i use it in a future preg too.. I've just got back from the cemetery, I finally managed to get there to put the little windmill on his grave. It started going round immediately, and it's comforting to think there is now something lovely and bright there. I just have to put ds's matching one in our garden now - I like the thought that we'll be connected somehow.

ps. re the keyboard, is it a new one? If not, it could be that it needs a clean - our keys stick/go funny sometimes, even when it doesn't look dirty. If you really want to take your mind off your appointment then sit down, pull all the keys off (keeping them in order of course ), clean and replace. Very therapeutic!

Back from St Andrews but off all week so no PC time. Made a rule with myself that I don't go on MN or facebook when off with the boys, it can eat into your precious free time and I find myself getting stressed if I don't check in. Its much wasier when I'm at work as can catch up on lunch. Been lurking though to keep an eye on you all

DS's are at nursery today so DH and me have been blitzing the house and garden. DH has bene to the tip three times and he still has the bathrooms to clean

We had a lovely time at our new family caravan and can't wait to 'make memories (copyright neeko) there over the years. Already can see Isaac in 10 yearshanging out with the girls and me being the biggest to him - he he.

Snip op was cancelled only because it clashed with our week off but I do think its a bit final and are doing fine with other contraception.. Our family harmony is just perfect at the four of us but like neeko I will always wonder what a pink one would have been like but remember how lucky I am to have two healthy Ds's. I don't want to linger on the ttc front as so many of us are gearing up for that again but I can't emotionally go through another pg, I used up all my hidden reserves with B. But never say never so the door is shut but not double locked if you get my crap analogy.

Heart felt hugs going to our fab monkey on this sad day. We have just sat down for the evening and dh and i have each lit a candle in memory of your ds.
