Hi girls, hope our two birthday days are having fun

We are back from the docs and D has yet another ear infection seems to be reoccurring, he said she is suffering quite badly...so to forgive her moods and grumpiness
I knew she wasn't right in herself, she is usually so good, if a little mischievous. One ear has so much wax that he couldn't see behind. I suffered with my ears as a child so he said it could be hereditary
Anyway she has been as good as gold since having her medication and is in bed sleeping soundly...bless her. Dh is away for 3 nights so im hoping she will be much improved on his return.
One thing the doc did mention is the fact one of her feet turns in slightly when she walks, i had noticed and prompted the doctor to see if he had noticed, he said he did last time but it's not an issue and is common so he didnt want to worry me be saying anything. Now im obsessed with watching her legs as she walks.... the worry never ends.

Dolly has been making me giggle today though, she always follows me into the bathroom and watches me wee, today she went and got the toilet roll, pulled a bit off and shoved it between my legs i think she was trying to wipe my bits ....and when we change her nappy now we have to give her a wipe because she wipes herself!

Barbie moment for today was in the doctors, i was standing waiting to rebook an appointment and Dolly was wondering off, chatting to a man (she is obsessed by men ) The guy in front was asking for an appointment on a certain day and i was saying 'no, you cant do that, you must be good, (etc etc) The poor guy thought i was talking to him! i tried to explain myself by pointing to D who at that moment disappeared around the counter, making me look silly, like i was talking to myself!

It it neeko's birthday too???

I'd love twins You could all come and help me with them too Oh if only............

Barbie, poor man, bet he was v bemused!!! Dolly is such a star - she'll be potty trained in no time when it's time to do it! Bless her wiping herself though, sounds like she doesn't miss a trick!

ps I did love your prediction of twin girls in the monkey household, SO hope it comes true! Wouldn't it be weird if it did

pps on a more serious note, my ds had a bad ear infection when he was little, and that's what apparently caused his glue ear. I wish I'd have known it was a possibility at the time, we probably would've picked it up earlier then. Hope that hasn't scared you though - was v easily put right!!

Glue ear??? Oh my, i cant keep up with all the things that you should keep up with as a mum! I go back in 10 days, i ask re glue ear then...he must think oh no, here is Barbie and her pfb

Re wiping herself, we had to give her something because she would put her hands in the poo!

Re the glue ear, I think that's what it's called anyway - basically he had liquid round his ear drum and it wasn't draining out...

Poor little Dolly - barbie hope she gets better very soon

Am sorry for lack of catch up - work is manic and we've been having a nightmare with Isaac see here so every evening has been taken up with sorting him out and trying not to murder him. Things are starting to improve (touch wood) so with any luck I will be back on for a proper post soon....

barbie Ajay has a perforated ear drum again, hence me not being on here lately, there seems to be something in the water!!! Hope Dolly recovers quickly. We have to go back to the docs in a couple of weeks so they can check it's healed.

Meh, poor louey and poorajay I hope both of you had a better night then me (every 2 hours), thankfully this morning D has had a mammoth sleep and has been her usual charming self, so we are getting through it.

louey i have no bright ideas (see what i did there ,) Sorry im not taking the p*s just trying to raise a from you...i see the sellotape seems to be working, did you try the torch idea? Hope he settles down soon.

vjay my doctor implied that me co-sleeping and feeding her could be one reason for the repeat ear infection, babies who take dummies and frequently food lying down are at more risk too ...or it could just be the nursery where she is more prone to picking things up. I hope ajay is ok now? The antibiotics are kicking it and D is settling down now, much more happy and smiley

barbie for what it's worth, ajay doesn't co-sleep or has a dummy or has food lying down, and he's had a few ear infections now, so your doctor has me! oh and he doesn't go to nursery either. I think it's just one of those things. My doc did say that as his ears mature he should grow out of them, but we may get reffered to ear nose and throat though still. I've got a right pair of -Jays!!! I'm back and to to the docs or hospital all the time at the mo. I'm sure it will settle down soon enough.

mermaid loving you shredding and eating cake . I did Davina yesterday and am now hobbling round.

louey Cjay never did the light switch thing, turning it on and off, but would always go to sleep with the light on. He's got a little lamp now which he has on, I go and turn it off but when I'm up with Ajay I always find it back on again. He finds it reassuring. There is a night light in their room but it's not bright enough for what he needs.

I've head my lump checked out today, the doctor isn't too concerned but did a smear and wants to see me again in three months to check on it. So I'm going to forget about it for now.

co-sleeped, no dummy, no ear problems. I reckon it's just one of them things barbie. mind you now i think about it ds never hears me say things like tidy away, hurry up, do your homework.....

vjay good that dr wasn't overly worried. Are the boys adapting to their bedroom? davina hmmm might try here next, am on day 2 of shred today a cole of us are creating our own workout now our gym is broke.

Dh and Cjay both have selective hearing too, I reckon Ajay will inherit it aswell

It's raining something awful up here today too. I put the raincover on the buggy but Ajay insisted on having his wellies poking out, so he ended up with wet trousers, and is now running round the house with his chubby legs out, I'm off to squidge them right now

Weekend ladies

Hoping Dh gets home tomorrow, it has been a long couple of night without him here.

Thanks for asking about D, poor love has thrush now due to the antibiotics, she really isnt easy to settle for naps or bed but im not complaining as we have had some lovely snuggles and even co-slept last night (gave up after the 6th waking and bought her into bed) She is her happy, gorgeous self when occupied and playing though...
It took ages to get her through the bed routine this evening, anti b's, calpol, teething powder, and gel, thrush cream....

Tomorrow i should be throwing a 2nd birthday for my lost lo , instead i will hold Dolly extra tight and cover her in kisses. Im so thankful she has given me the chance to smile. I really do hope we can all have a happy ending and find peace within ourselves... I've said it before and ill say it again, i really aint going anywhere until the end, until each and everyone of us has a on our faces (and even then i will still be a devoted mn'er!)

Barbie - I though your EDD was the same as mine - 6th April? It's such a ying and yang week for me every year now, wedding anniversary/conceiving B anniversary but also remembering what might have been anniversary too

Right, have a good weekend all. DH and me are having a lovely meal out in St Andrews tomorrow night. Its making me and and as i'm ovulating (not doing OPK's can just tell in an old school type way..) He also cancelled his snip procedure BUT there is no way we're having another baby, just like to play devil with myself now and again .
