Get comfy girls, the evenings are not so dark anymore so we'll be passing round the wine soon Wine Grin

barbie1 · 21/03/2011 13:29

vjay DO NOT GOOGLE!!!!! It will be harmless, a change in hormones or something silly like that Smile Chillax.....I'd be more worried about the lost strings...just how big is it up there Wink Grin

barbie1 · 21/03/2011 13:32

Oh and i would maybe do a tiny white lie and say that you think the coil has slipped and is giving you a little pain ( should be seen quicker?) and the strings are missing, and while they are down there they can check the lump???

VJayJay · 21/03/2011 15:53

Oooh cheeky barbie, cheeky barbie,....did you hear that echo????BlushWinkGrin

I have rang them back and said I'll take a cancellation if there is one.

bluesatinsash · 21/03/2011 16:30

Vjay - I have a couple of lumps and bumps in my vjayjay but hope its down to wear and tear even though boys didn't choose that exit route Grin. Best get it checked out anyway..

Off work today, chest infection confirmed by Asthma nurse this morning so anto-b's and rest for me.

Will try catch up later, brain too woolly just now x

VJayJay · 21/03/2011 16:45

oh no look at this!

blue thanks for sharing Smile, I hope you feel better soon, but at least it gives you more time to mn, I miss you Smile

bluesatinsash · 21/03/2011 20:49

It's on Blue Peter Grin - agree with poster who said she probably meant bejeweled rather than vjazzled!

Reminds me of me telling my Mum I was going 'frigging' at the school disco as I thought it meant dancing when it actually means...well it's a song by The Sex Pistols 'Frigging in the Rigging' my big cousins used to sing to me and its ver ver rude Blush. How did my Mum know what it meant come to think of it... Hmm.

So Vjay - what are you and the boys up to during the hols? I really hope the weather's good. DS1 had his long shorts on today, his wee ankles coming out of hibernation Smile

QA - no time for spellcheck? No need you mean . Seven weeks in, you're getting there.. Great if they can give you an 11 week scan. Early ones are a double edged sword as they give you reassurance for oooh about a day then its back to worry so in some ways waiting it out, no matter how sanity draining it is means there's more chance a good scan sends you on your way to the secnd trimester Smile. DH and me are 7 years this year (married 2 4 2004, the chinese number gods were smiling but not as snazzy as 4ever's 7 7 7). Seven years is wool so socks it is Grin

cupcake - was Shock reading about Jude, what a week you've had. Unespected vomit is so hard to deal with whilst worrying how they are too. There is SO much lurgy going around, think all our immune systems are shreeded after such a long winter... I will post your 9-12 by the end of the week x Oh and your dress is gorgeous, very you Smile

Neeko - so delighted your eight hour sleep is returning and at M and H being thick as thieves Smile. Not so great about work though Angry. I felt like that going back first time as I dropped 5 to 3 and struggled but totally different job and was able to delegate more which you can't do as you have vested interest in your pupils BUT you only get paid for three days so three days work is what you should be doing... Have you thought of speaking to your Head of Dept? A wee day in Glasgow sans enfants sounds great!

barbie abd Buddha - sorry to hear you're both struggling with teething babies, wish they all came through together.. Baribe - did you get to the gym??

mermaid I am SO raring to go in the garden this year. We're moving a tree to make a bigger veg patch andkeen to have carrots, tatties, courgettes and strawberries. I have three, yes three Fridays to myself due to bank holidays and boys being at nursery so will get cracking then. Please send your tips my way, for example how many times should I turn the soil over before planting? Belated Angry at the gym wifie. You obviously got alot of solice and space there over the years (and through your losses Sad)...

Monkey - Smile. You're on your starters blocks, how exciting!! Have you had your first appointment? I also predict lots of Christmas bumps and babies this year Smile

louey - loved the DT's birthday pics, you did them proud. Not too long until another birthday Smile. How are they feeling about getting a little brother or sister? I had to spin it to my Isaac and he was delighted - on one condition - it was a BOY Grin

Sabs - so what girlie films did you watch on your home alone week? I bought 'The Notebook' the other day to watch home alone one night. Big kisses to Saara x

4ever - feel your dilemma re: hols although MLS did manage Disney when 7 months pg last year Smile.. We took DS1 to Cyprus when he was 12 months and it was way too hot for him. In hindsight a mistake as we spent most of the days indoors. How's S's standing coming on?

BQ - hope things are galloping on now.

Moon - any results yet?

Right, off to do some sofalising with DH Smile

bluesatinsash · 21/03/2011 20:50

Sorry QA - didn't mean to bold your whole paragraph Blush

Stop shouting Grin!!

littlebellsmum · 22/03/2011 12:54

just flying in - life here is even more mad than normal. Just over a week untill the holiday!! vjay - i too couldn't find the strings and now am having to have the dildo scan next week to see where it is!! can't help with lumps though..

littlebellsmum · 22/03/2011 12:56

QA just had to comment on your white powder comment - rofl! Will let you know if it happens!!

barbie1 · 22/03/2011 15:07

Lost strings, white powder, frigging....what is this thread coming too Wink

Cant stop im off for a girlies night out...whooopppppiiieeeee Grin

Will check in tomorrow x

VJayJay · 22/03/2011 19:29

Awwww blue I can't wait to get the boys in their shorts Smile. We have family coming up for the second week of the holiday which will be lots of fun, there will be 7 of them altogether, not staying with us, we don't have the room. I think the first week I'll be getting ready for them all. What are you up to?
I did lol at you shouting at qa Grin

lbm let me know how you get on re missing strings. I did have a tummy scan a year ago and it was in the right place then anyway.

Have a fab night out barbie Smile

Right, enders is on...

Neeko · 22/03/2011 20:29

Evening.

Vjay I'm sure all will be fine with you and the strings will just have curled up nicely out of the way. I don't trust my coil yet and still haven't had AF so have done a couple of POAS just to put my mind at rest over the past couple of months. Maybe I'm just addicted Blush
In case I forget nearer the time, I hope you have a fab family time over the hols.

Blue Withoot the weans it is then Smile When's your hols? Maybe we can do it in time for you to do some last minute essentials. Hope you are feeling better and the anti-bs are kicking in. Nice idea about the head of dept if she weren't the cause of a lot of the pressure Sad. It'll be easier when the exams start and I'll be stronger next session.

LBM so exciting re your holiday. Have a fantastic time and take loads of pictures.

Barbie Hope the girls' night out was fab. I'm so for a big one of those soon. Glad you're not too close to the trouble. I know of someone in Bahrain who is having to come home.
Hope those teeth popped through and Dolly is now eating everything in sight. I didn't drop the morning feed like I was going to, but decided to keep going til she's one since I've got this far. H was up with her teeth on Sat night and DH settled her with some calpol and a couple of oz from a bottle, so that's major progress Smile

QA 7 weeks. Wow! BTW I remember reading that it's very unusual to have strong symptoms before that stage due to hormone levels. My votes on a pink bean for you who won't give her mummy any trouble unlike H and Dolly
We're having a family party here on Sun. Just immediate family but there'll be about 30 of us Hmm I couldn't face doing party bags for the kids so have bought them an Easter egg instead. Grin There'll be lots of sweet and savoury nibbly things and a teddy bear cake plus a wee tipple for the non-driving adults. I've not made any plans for her actual birthday but knowing our family, they'll all be here again no doubt.

H took her first two steps on Sunday [very-proud-mummy-emoticon] Nothing since but she was walking to DH at the time and we both saw her so that's all that counts. Smile

Plumbers were here all day yesterday fitting out the downstairs loo. They're coming back on Monday once the floor is done to finish the plinths etc. We only started it a year past in September so it's been a DIY whirlwind! Grin

loueytb3 · 23/03/2011 09:27

Hello - I'm still alive! It's been manic and today is the boys birthday Smile. I've got the day off and I'm having my hair done this morning and then going out for lunch with DH. Then we are hopefully going to construct the boys sandpit this afternoon.

Big waves to you all. Will try and do a big post tomorrow when things have calmed down!!

cupcakefairy · 23/03/2011 13:15

Hi ladies, catching up while ds had his lunch...finger foods are the best Grin although I spent ages making him Annabel Karmel's mini chicken burgers and he won't touch them :( I have loads in the freezer dh and I will just have to eat!! Ungrateful child.

Thanks so much for all your lovely words and sympathies...thankfully Jude is completely back to his normal self now but it really was a grim grim week. Hate him not eating or drinking his milk. But appetite back now and thankfully dh and I didn't catch anything. Oh and radiator fixed Grin the plumber said he couldn't come til next day originally but I cried on the phone Blush and he gave in...ended up taking him about 3 hours I felt so guilty Confused

ANYWAY!

Glad you all like the bridesmaid dress :) just got to work out what to do with my rubbish hair now!

qa YAY for 7 weeks...bet it still doesn't feel real. Gutted you can't get early scan :( I remember my mum's bf who is a midwife saying to me 'if you do want a scan, use the magic p word...pain' it is a bit naughty Confused

louey happy birthday to your boys :) Sounds a lovely day off :) glad their party went well.

blue No hurry...ds is still in 6-9 month stuff, and thank you soooo much, you are lovely :)

mermaid Angry at stupid gym woman! We all know how lovely you are.

neeko so sorry the job share isn't working yet :( you are such a good teacher being so dedicated to your pupils though, karma will come round and you'll get the break you deserve :) amazing that H is walking!! Can't believe it. And massive at her and M playing together.

Vjay at coil strings on behalf of absent MLS Wink hope everything is ok at the appointment though.

barbie poor Dolly with her teeth. Calpol is our saviour at the mo as we have numbers 3, 4 and 5 appearing... I might try one of those amber necklaces, a couple of my friends rave about them Hmm

moon everything ok?

4ever how's your clever standing girl? We have crawling up the stairs now but no standing alone :)

I'm sure I've missed a question someone asked me...remind me if I have! I haven't read back properly.

Off out to the park to enjoy the sunshine now :)

Passing through again (useless I know....)

I wont be around for a few days now, my sister gets married on Friday, so am racing around doing last minute things and we go to the hotel tomorrow. Had a big chat with her last week about her being pregnant (she is now 18 weeks and she only found out a little while ago! Shock) so feel a little better about things than I have done. Have been sticking head in the sand re. results, and will make a doctors appointment to get them all once my sisters wedding is over so that any bad results wont cast a shadow over the day.

Sorry but have to dash, love and hugs to everyone xxxxx

mermaidspurse · 23/03/2011 17:15

useless? Ha! as if moon ere you can start on the vinno early if you are going to a hotel mid weekWine

and anyway sand is mighty fine stuff so a few days more won't hurt. Have a good time at the wedding dance on the tables and pinch the waiters bums.

cupcake poor you, poor ds and poor plumber! lovely dress, I forgot to commentSmile

How do I get to watch greys? will I have to resort to box set land?

qa well this is the first year that I am mc free and I have to say it is a nice change. I am doing a bit of a moon myself as my results come in tomorrow and I am going to leave it till next week - shudder at the thought of the liver test Grin Although I guess they might ring me if they thought they should.
If the results come back clear I will have to excuse myself in other ways re the memory, displacement of everything and my ahem sandy type behaviour of late and then I think dh will be going off for the ol chopGrin which I shall video in HD and evily dub cackles over the topGrin Bit worried tho after reading stuff and he has quite a strenuous job and can't take much time off work. I was going to go in myself, true drama queen style but I can't be arsed.
I had read on here that you need 2 lots of bloods but after asking if my dr was right once too many times - they must think oh no it's a bloody mn here we go. But this was the same dr who asked me to ask 4ever how much cyclogest I should be prescribed!
there ask me how I am and I can write a veritable essay.
Well done on 7 whole long 7 weeks. A huge sparkly star and for getting through family stuff at the same time. Hope everything works out with the crisis.

neeko It must be hard to go back and adjust to a job share. I hope the wrinkles get ironed out. All these walking babies how did that happenShock
Go to the stoniest beach you can find and then they will just stay in one spot!

vjay Have you had your undercarriage checked out yet and hope that all is well. Glad you got the maths sorted - shudder.

louey happy birthday to the boys, sounds like you all had and are having a lovely day. Give them big birthday kisses from us.

blue I am in a pickle in the garden and have done nothing and neglected it all badly last year too. Your grass is much healthier looking than mine too, have I got weak southern feeble stuff? Am thinking some different type of tomatos this year, peppers and chillies. oh and lettuce lots of pick again lettuce and herbs. Don't feel like being too butch with veg this year cos it would mean lots of digging.
Have rambled, have good evenings ladies.

VJayJay · 23/03/2011 17:30

Hiya Smile

neeko I've done loads of poas's because I get really nervous too, plus I like poas...only joking Grin

mermaid no not been checked out yet, I'm putting it out of my mind now til the appoinment next week. Can't do owt about itl then anyway!Hope your results are good and I did laugh at your plan to video dh and cackle over it GrinGrin

louey how did the sandpit construction go, I bet it looks ace Smile

moon have a fab wedding, let your hair down and shale ya booty, that's an order Grin

cupcake glad little J is better, I can relate to the grimness of it all. Enjoy your chicken burgers, I never did make those, might give it a go.

Right feeding time at the zoo, laters xx

VJayJay · 23/03/2011 17:31

shake ya booty moon shake it !!!

cupcakefairy · 23/03/2011 21:29

moon get well and truly fronked at the wedding GrinWink

mermaid I've been borrowing the Grey's boxsets from a friend...you could try downloading in a not-entirely-legal way, or renting them from lovefilm or similar... I do recommend it, tis a fab show :)

Ooh what is everyone reading at the moment?
I'm absolutely loving Danny Wallace's Friends Like These - I recommend if you are after a really easy light read you can giggle like a loon to :) dh gets annoyed with me giggling away at my book in bed Grin

barbie1 · 24/03/2011 12:28

barbie1 · 24/03/2011 12:29

Dh is out tonight so i have plenty of time to catch up and post...speak soon x

VJayJay · 24/03/2011 12:34

Grin, this will haunt me forever, but I am NOT changing my name!

monkeybumsmum · 24/03/2011 17:32

Grin Vjay Will never be able to think of you the same now Grin Are you sparkly? Wink

Barbie Hope you enjoy your dh free night, mine are Mondays when he plays tennis and I normally get sidetracked by OBEM chores. Looking forward to a nice long post later! Gorgeous pic of D btw on your FB profile, have never met you in RL, but I think she looks like you in that one Smile

Mermaid do you mind if I ask what they are testing for? I hope that whatever it is you get good results!

Moon Have a fab time at your sisters wedding! Good idea to do an ostrich so you can enjoy yourself to the full over the weekend Grin Good luck for when you do make the appointment.

Cupcake am so pleased to hear J is back to his usual self, it's horrible when they're poorly Sad What do you think you'll do with your hair for the wedding? Are you doing it yourself? Maybe you could go and have a trial with the hairdresser - could give you some idea's? Is v exciting, and I SO love your dress!! (Think I might have said that already Blush)

Louey Happy belated b'day for your lovely boys, bet they had a whale of a time! Did they love the sandpit? Lovely pic on FB too Smile Four is a great age (apart from the constant 'why why why' that is!!!)

Neeko Go H!!! You are so lucky to both have been there when she took her first steps! There'll be no stopping her now! Also, congrats on the loo - only a year you say? That'd be a miracle in this house Grin

Mermaid and blue you are amazing with your gardening talk - am in awe of anyone who can find time to do any! Must be fab to grow your own veggies etc... You should do veggy growing blogs and I can live vicariously through you Grin

QA Great that you're 7 weeks already Smile Try not to worry about symptoms, or lack of them - remember every single pregnancy is different. Thanks so much to you both QA and 4ever for saying you'll light a candle on the 8th April. It means a lot to me, you are both so lovely. It's getting slightly easier to talk about it now too - a close friend here was asking what I'm doing on that date, and she didn't realise that our little angel boy had been buried and that I could go and visit him. Have hardly been able to tell anyone as couldn't get the words out, but is definately a little easier to say without crying now.

Right, so sorry if I've missed anyone out, and I inevitably will have done I know Blush Need to go and cook ds's supper and pack as we are off to UK tomorrow for the weekend. Also, must tell you that I am now officially a human pincushion, as I started the fertility treatment this afternoon - daily injections up to ovulation! Midwife was so lovely I just wanted to hug her - she's had mc's herself and was saying she knows how it feels to want a baby so much that you'll go through whatever it takes to get there. Have now got a coolbag of vials sat in the fridge and a huge box of needles, scary!!!

Must dash, have a good weekend all if I don't manage to get back on! Oh, also LBM have a wonderful wonderful time down under!!! Eat some Jaffa's for me please Grin xxx

mermaidspurse · 24/03/2011 17:51

monkey and you think vegtables are clever. Wow that is just fantastic news. It is beautiful over here at the mo so enjoy your trip and fingers and toes crossed and recrossed.x

vjay do not fret cos all the right on mnetters will think you are deeply sardonic and with itGrin
