How and when did you decide to go for DC 2?

How old was DC1?

Were you absolutely sure you would have enough love left or is it always a question?

Thanks!!! I'm going out of my mind!

We decided to try for dc2 when dd1 was 6 months old. We were both 38 and didn't want to wait too long.

It took a lot longer than we expected and dd2 was born just over 2 years later.

I did wonder how I could love another dc as much as dd1 but what everyone says is absolutely true, your love expands and I adore dd2 more than I thought possible Smile. If I was younger, I would be going for dc3.

Just do it. You won't regret it.

I did it as soon as physically possible, but sadly mc, so there is a 2 year gap. There is only 15 months between my 2nd and 3rd.

I wasn't sure if I could love another as much as my 1st, but I absolutely do ,so so much, and also with my 3rd, the same, total adoration !

You just do, its great and I really recommend it.

Good luck with your decision.

We are on the second month of trying for DC2 - DD is 20 mths now.

Last month was a sort of "try" at trying - it was a big step, I felt quite odd doing the whole TCC thing again and I think it was generally a "get our heads round it" month.

THat said when we got a BFN last month we were v disappointed and this month we are very sure that we def do want another one!

I do worry about the challenges of having two but I don't worry about not loving them both. I guess I also find it hard at the moment working and being DD's number 1 choice parent (which in itself is lovely), and I've got this idea that it would be nice to be at home for a year with her and new baby with no work to worry about.

If I do have another you are welcome to refer me back to this when I am posting "Oh God I can't cope with two!" posts.
