Arm pain following Implanon removal

Not technically a conception issue but thought this would be a good place to post as some of you ladies have presumably had Implanon removed in order to conceive?

I had my Implanon taken out in January. Since then, I have had pain in the inside of my lower arm (as in the side that the inside of my elbow is on, between my wrist and my elbow). Did anyone else experience this? Could the doctor possibly have damaged a nerve or something removing the implant? There did seem to be an awful lot of tugging involved to get it out. But would have expected any problems to be around the site of the implant, and that has all healed fine. I know nothing about arm nerves (or indeed any other nerves) so have no idea if this is even possible.

It could be totally unrelated, but just wondered if anyone else had experienced a similar issue? If it hasn't cleared up in a few weeks I'll go and see my GP, but wondered if anyone had any stories to share in the meantime.

Thanks in advance.

perhaps it twinged a nerve. id pop and get it looked at if not resolved itself/. i had mine out about 3 years ago and sometimes i still get the odd twinge of discomfort at the site. strange1
