Hi
I just wondered whether anyone can give me a bit of advice. My dh and I decided we wanted another baby and I had started taking the mini pill in December as I was having problems with acne and this was supposed to sort it out, as it didnt work I decided to stop using it as I just put on weight. Now we want a baby and as I only took it for 1 mth will it have effected my chance of getting pregnant easily? Thanks

Hi claire129, I don't have any medical training and haven't been on the mini pill, but my guess is that one month on the mini pill won't make any difference to your fertility in the long run. Or probably the short or medium run either.

I hope getting pg is easy for you!

No it won't have, some people take a while for their periods to kick in, others ovulate straight away, even after years. I'm sure you will be fine.
