early miscarriage after sex

I was on the day I was due to bleed and I felt a little hyper like I usually do so I had sex and I passed a table spoon ish of menstrual blood. Then over the next three days I passed about a teaspoon to then half a teaspoon of blood and did a pregnancy test twice and found I was definitely pregnant. For the next few days I had all the symptoms of pregnancy and the blood stopped by the sixth day after the day I was due to bleed. I was feeling emotional at this stage and so on the seventh day had very gentle intercourse. The next day I miscarried. If I had not had sex would I have still miscarried? My skin in general is sensitive and I had had a slight soreness, burning sensation of my cervix since I had conceived. Was my cervix depleted and then worn away in someway from sex? I phoned my GP and he did not know.

Rabbit, so sorry you are going through this, it will be a very emotional time. I'm only guessing, and having been through a mc myself I know the urge to search for answers, but I'd think it highly unlikely that intercourse can bring on a miscarriage. Hopefully someone will be along soon with more idea of what may have happened, until then look after yourself x

Thank you sparklywine for you reassurance. One of the things that makes me think it was going to happen anyway was that I felt slightly hyper on the day i was going to bleed as if my usual hormone to make me bleed was coming into action and secondly my period sometimes takes a few days to come and I have had sex in the past to make the bleed hurry up and come along. I remember having lots of sex in my first pregnancy with no bleed at all. Thanks I feel better. xx
