Am a first time TTC'er and wondering if this is normal behaviour?!

Hi ladies, am new to MN and have decided with DH that we are going to try for a family. As much as I want to, we're not telling anybody as don't want to feel under too much pressure and be faced with loads of questions.

Anyhoo - I am no longer ovulating - we missed it this month (or so the OV calenders say!) and I know this sounds terrible but I am feeling less inclined to DTD with hinny as feel we should "save it" for when it's possibility of concieving. Is that really bad or do others feel like this?!

Hi Daiso!

All the books (and I've read a few!) say to do it every 2-3days throughout your cycle. This keeps the "boys" fresh and healthy and also double makes sure that you don't miss your fertile time (it's not always when you think it is!!)

Hope this helps xx

Definitely don't save them up, completely the wrong thing to do, if stored up they die, become sluggish, no good !! As idreaminchocolate says, the best thing to do is have regular sex throughout your cycle, so every 2-3 days is perfect.

Good luck and hope you get that BFP soon
