Hi,
This is the first time I have used mumsnet so hope I have posted this right.

I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced the following whilst using clomid.

I have had bad headaches and tiredness-this I can deal with. I feel really down and have cried a few times for no reason? Will this always happen or just when I am taking the clomid. (I took the last tablet on Saturday). Could it be because this is my first round?

Any shared experiences or advice would be appreciated.

Many Thanks x

I'm on round 4. the list of possible side effects is enormous and seems to include all the things you've mentioned. I've had some cracking headaches that go a couple of days after I've finished the course. On round 2 I took a tip off here of taking it at night instead of the morning to sort of sleep through the worst of it. Hope that helps! Smile

Hi yes I also started taking Clomid at night and don't really suffer any symptoms now

Hi dreams8

I took clomid over 3 years ago, and from what I can remember the first month was the worst. I always took it at night as had also picked up the tip that then you usually sleep through a lot of the side effects, I also felt very emotional, somedays like I wanted to scream at everybody and other days when I just couldn't stop crying. The following two months I was on it were much much better.

Good luck and hopefully you will get your BFP this month

Thanks for your replies. I will try taking round 2 on a night time to see if that makes a difference.(Hopefully I wont need round 2 though):) xx
